Hello John and Doves,
Still the war drums are beating
as both sides of the U.S./NATO and Russia/China standoff
continue = with physical and verbal escalation coming from
both sides.
One of the U.S. negotiators said
if Russia attacks Ukraine they will face the destruction
of their economy and their Russian soldiers returned to
Russia in body bags.
Hmmm. That doesn't sound
much like "negotiation" - sounds more like instigation!
The U.S. State Department is
telling us Russia could invade early this week.
SPIEGEL is warning of a Russian
attack on Wednesday. "The US intelligence services
have issued the most urgent warning to the NATO allies of
an imminent Russian attack on Ukraine. According to
SPIEGEL information, both the US secret service CIA and
the US military informed the federal government and other
NATO states over the course of Friday that, based on new
information, there were fears that the attack could take
place as early as next Wednesday....February 16 was given
as the possible date for the start of the invasion."
Antony Blinken has warned of a possible attack before the
end of the Olympic Games in China on February 20...maybe
this is why Putin met Xi at the opening of the
games.

Many countries
have told and are now telling their citizens to leave
Ukraine. The US, UK, Italy, Germany, France, the
Netherlands, Israel, Latvia, etc.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
Maranatha!

"I Know Who Holds Tomorrow"
I don't know
about tomorrow
I just live from day to day
I don't borrow from the sunshine
For the skies they turn to grey.
And I don't worry for the future
For I know what Jesus said
And today I'll walk beside him
For he's what lies ahead.
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.
Every step is getting brighter
As the golden stairs I climb
Every burden's getting lighter
Every cloud is silver-lined.
There the sun is always shining
There no tear will ever dim the eye
At the ending of the rainbow
Where the mountains touch the sky.
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.
