What kind of economic repercussions would this have?

James 5:1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.

  2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.

  3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

Where, in the last days, the LORD miraculously causes something that never happened before?

For gold to rust?

In the natural, gold does not oxidize into rust.

That is why even those really old king Tut treasures were still shiny.

But apparently, the LORD is going to overwrite the natural with this, like many other things in the last days.

What kind of economic repercussions would this have?
