Hello John and Doves,
Add this to what China
has done:
The U.S. Trump
administration had been very vocal in warning Israel and
other countries about letting China in their
'infrastructure'.
In 2015 the Shanghai
International Port Group (SIPG) "signed a deal with
Israel's Transportation Ministry "to build up and run
Haifa's commercial port. The deal prompted
objections from the US government in 2018, as ships from
the US Navy's 6th Fleet frequent an adjacent Israeli navy
base. The base at Haifa reportedly houses Israel
nuclear weapons-capable submarines....SIPG has committed
more than $2 billion to expand and upgrade the port and is
set to run it for 25 years under the agreement. U.S.
officials are concerned that the company could enable
Beijing to spy on the US Navy and its activities with
Israel's forces."

Report:
Israel turned down US request to inspect Haifa port
after deal with China - Al-Monitor: the Pulse of the
Middle East
In the above article dated
February 1, 2021, the U.S. asked if the US Coast Guard
could inspect the port for 'Chinese surveillance
capabilities.' Israel's government refused the
request.
This makes no sense to
me. Maybe Israel was desperate to keep the port open
and running and needed the money China offered. This
agreement was signed several years before Covid took a
major hit on Israel's economy.
This will not bode well
for Israel. China is up to no good and is spreading
her influence through out the Middle East.
Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem!~
Maranatha!
