I was so sad to hear that Carman passed away on February 15th from a hernia operation in Las Vegas at the young age of 65.He was a Christian singer who could galvanize 50,000 people to Texas Stadium for a concert, and 80,000 in Nashville Tennessee.
People were enthralled with his story- telling musical videos. He had a heart for young people and his dynamic zeal evidenced his deep love for God and Jesus Christ.
One of my favorite videos was called " Mission 3:16",which was a Christian portrayal of the former TV series"Mission Impossible".
In that particular video, Tony Orlando ( who sang the famous song:"Tie a yellow ribbon 'round the old oak tree")does an accapella song with a quartet backup with amazing harmony of the Bible verse John 3:16.It is my favorite!
Also, in that same video is a very realistic drama of a courtroom scene in eternity on one's judgement day.

Carman had the amazing ability to take dry material and make it come alive for the younger generations to better understand.
He must have had a resounding applause as he entered heaven from all those who were saved by hearing his talented musical-dramas of Salvation in Jesus Christ.
