Firstly.... your multiple posts last week and your coverage of the Chinese virus were very informative and very wide ranging......well done!! I am sure I was not the only Dove who became educated by the extensive information and data that you presented.
Another aspect of this whole virus situation that you focused on as well was... the fourth seal......the pale horse, and if indeed that's what this current pandemic is all about.
That said, I would like to pose my past and still ongoing beliefs about not only the fourth seal, the pale horse, but all of seals being not punishments by Jesus but interventions by Him.
What do I mean?
When one reads the story line of the seals there in Revelation, John (the author) there in those verses is sad... very sad that for a time, no one was found worthy to open the seals.
Why would John be sad if those seals were indeed terrible judgments to be dispensed upon mankind? John seemingly would have been happy that no one was found worthy to open these seals if opening them unleashed terrible things.
But then Jesus stepped forward and was found worthy to open the seals which created absolute pandemonium ....but the pandemonium was absolute joy. John was beside himself with joy and so was all of heaven, all of earth and all of creation everywhere.
If these seals were judgments (like we are led to believe) there should have been no joy in heaven or on earth but there was great great resounding joy.
So the logical conclusion one has to make is that these seals were not judgments but benevolent interventions on Jesus's part. Benevolent interventions that Jesus would dispense upon His church throughout the whole span of the church age. Interventions throughout the past 2000 years as were needed to prevent the church from being eradicated. Eradicated by the one who oversees earth as per Matthew 4:8-9.....Satan.
Were there times during the 2000 year church age that the church was in danger of being wiped out? Yes
The Roman Catholic Church in the Middle Ages was trying to wipe out all true Christians and almost succeeded.....they tortured and butchered and killed 50+ million true Christians under the most horrific of terms. A huge number for this time in history.
And Jesus intervened then in the first seal opening by rising up a leader there in Europe that......”went out conquering and to conquer”.... ending the terrible rule of the Papacy. And yes he was famous for riding a white horse. His name was Napoleon Bonaparte and he saved the Christian church from being eradicated by Rome and the demonic Catholic Church. He put an end to the Papal rule in Europe which went on for centuries.
Then the Christian church and the Jews were again in danger of being eradicated by the Satanic Nazis in world war II. ...”peace was taken from the earth under the red horse of war”.... Had the Nazi's won the war, Christians and Jews would have been removed under their evil agenda but again Jesus with the opening of the second seal intervened for His church once again on the side of righteousness to turn the tide of this war toward the allies. It speaks there in the wording of this seal of a “great sword” being given out. And indeed the hydrogen bomb was introduced onto the battle field to turn the tide against the axis forces of evil.
These are two examples of how Jesus will intervene 7 times (7 seals) throughout the life of His Christian church before the rapture to prevent it from being eradicated or seriously harmed. Just as any loving father would do for his children. By the way the rapture appears to happen during the 6th seal.
Chance......that brings us to the present day and your speculation that this Chinese bio-weapon has something to do with the fourth seal, the pale horse, and the wording of that seal.
My belief as well is that Jesus will intervene again on behalf of His Christian church during this current pandemic.
The fourth seal speaks about Death and Hades. It speaks about people dying by sword, by hunger, by death (pestilence) and by the beasts of the earth.
It appears that the beasts of the earth may have played a big part in the composition of this virus. A demonic / frankenstillian mixture of virus's / genes fro m bats, snakes, pigs, Hiv (human beasts) etc. formulating this mixture into a bio-weapon.
It says in the fourth seal wording that …..”and power was given to them over a fourth of the earth”....
Would it be a stretch to insert the word Chinese for “them” in that wording?
They, the Chinese, do control what I would consider a fourth of the earth and have nearly a fourth of the world's population.
There are estimates that a quarter of the Chinese people have / had embraced Christianity in China albeit rather secretly for survival purposes.
The communist Chinese government who were aware of these numbers went on “a full court press” in about 2016 to shut the Christian movement and all religious movements in China down. Shut it down hard. The Christians there since then have been terribly persecuted by their demonic communist overlords.
Lets do the numbers.....I believe there are about a billion and a half Chinese people. If a quarter of them were closet Christians that's 300-400 million people. That's a huge number......it's as much or more than the total population of the United States.
Did Jesus here the prayers of his people, the hundreds of millions of Chinese crying out to their Lord and Savior for intervention? I believe so......consequently the fourth seal has been opened.
Will Jesus miraculously intervene for the Christian Church not only in China but also in the rest of the world as a result of this bio-weapon? I am thinking yes
When the dust settles from this pandemic will it be “a blood over your doorpost” moment in China where the death angel has spared the Chinese Christians and killed the communists leaving the Christians to shed the yoke of communism within their country and then let them establish a righteous form of government?
I would like to believe that the wording in the fourth seal is this kind of scenario and outcome. Obviously time will tell.
