"THE 'LAST GENERATION' IS NEAR ITS END"

THE 'LAST GENERATION' IS VERY NEARLY AT ITS END............

Matthew 24:32-34 ( Jesus speaking in His Olivet Discourse )

"Now learn a parable of a fig tree; when its branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves you know that summer is near. So likewise when  you shall see all these things know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away UNTIL ALL THESE THINGS BE FULFILLED."

God re-established Israel in 1948, after nearly a 2,000-year dispersion, when He planted "the fig tree" as a "tender branch", and since then Israel has gained land by expanding its borders twice, ie. "put forth leaves", as a result of both the 1967 Six Day War and the 1973 Yom Kipper War.  The 'last generation ', in which we now live, is the last generation of "the fig tree", and it is nearly at its' end.

There are two Scriptures in the Old Testament that are 'book end' prophecies of the "fig tree" generation in which we now live. One prophecy describes the beginning of the 'fig tree' generation, ie. the planting of the "fig tree" by God in 1948, and the other prophecy  describes the end of the "fig tree' generation which will be caused by the "sudden destruction" of the "fig tree" by God Himself as His tribulation judgment upon Israel in fulfillment of Jesus Christ's LAST PROPHECY on the day He was crucified as recorded in Luke 23:28-31 when Jesus warned Israel, "The days are coming........".

The description of the beginning of the "fig tree" generation, which happened in 1948, is according to :

Ezekiel 36:24

"For I will take you from among the Gentiles, and gather you out of all countries,  and I will bring you in to YOUR OWN LAND."

The description of the end of the "fig tree' generation , which will come in the very near future , is according to:

Ezekiel 38:16

"And you, O Gog, shall come up against My people of Israel. It shall be in the latter days that I WILL BRING YOU against My land......"

The Apostle Paul also described the end of the "fig tree" generation to the Church in the New Testament according to:

1 Thessalonians 5:2-4

"For yourselves know perfectly that THE DAY OF THE LORD so comes as a thief in the night.  For when they ( Israel ) shall say peace and safety THEN SUDDEN DESTRUCTION COMES UPON THEM , and they shall not escape.  But you , brethren, ARE NOT IN DARKNESS , that THIS DAY should overtake you as a thief."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT:

'Right after the Apostle Paul describes the rapture in chapter four, he then says, in chapter five,  that the Church should NOT be taken by surprise ,as a thief would surprise the uninformed. because the Church is NOW informed,  ie. "not in darkness", about when the Day of the Lord will happen because Paul tells us that "THIS DAY",  the Day of the Lord,  will happen right AFTER THE "SUDDEN DESTRUCTION" OF ISRAEL by the Gog-Magog War. Paul also tells the Church that the rapture will then happen BEFORE God's tribulation judgment comes upon the WHOLE WORLD.

Therefore, we are told to be watching for the "SUDDEN DESTRUCTION" UPON ISRAEL BY THE GOG-MAGOG WAR AGAINST ISRAEL AS 'THE SIGN' OF THE NEARNESS OF OUR PENDING RAPTURE which will come soon after.

According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus !
