Whatever it means, today is a rare palindrome. Also the one year anniversary of the Fort Lauderdale Cross drifting onto the beach.

Unless I am going stark raving bonkers - this very day just has to mark something truly special. Back in 2011, the Christchurch EQ occurred on 2.22.2011. It felt like a very special marker.  I emailed John Tng about it. Then the Japan EQ and tsunami occurred on 3.11.2011. Then JR Church died on 3.22.2011. I can't help feeling that today, 2.2.2020, marks something very special.

Tomorrow is the only palindrome date of this century
