"Knowing where to find
God's requirements is not the same as meeting them."
At the moment you are born your "life clock" starts ticking. Not
adding time but subtracting it. Each day lived is actually one
less than you had before.
The deception of youth and health is that you have more time to
do the things that you desire but the truth is; none of us know
how much time we have left. The question then is, Will you be
ready to leave this life or will you be caught unprepared for
what's next?
When your time expires (ready or not) you will meet your Creator
on His terms - not yours. His terms are clearly spelled out for
us in a book called The Bible. Knowing where to find God's
requirements is not the same as meeting them.
“I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation
for being alive—but you are dead. Wake up!
Strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is almost
dead.
I find that your actions (work) do not meet the requirements of
my God. Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to
it firmly. Repent and turn to me again. If you don’t wake up, I
will come to you suddenly, as unexpected as a thief. (Revelation
3:1-3)
