February 14, 2020:
HHS (the U.S. Department
of Health and Human Services), the CDC, and Health
Departments "in Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago, NYC, and
LA are now testing patients presenting with flu-like
symptoms for COVID-19."
"HHS/CDC believe cases
of COVID-19 may be seeping into the country despite travel
restrictions and screening at airports. According to
the HHS Secretary Alex Azar, the testing effort will "help
see whether there is broader spread than we have been able
to detect s far."

Well, considering
incoming flights from China were continuing before and
after cities in China were being quarantined, what does
the HHS and CDC expect? No 'seeping into the
country', more like actively entering!
The regular flu is
hitting many areas of the country pretty hard. There
are more than likely people with COVID-19 that think they
have regular flu, presenting with a milder case of this
Chinese virus.
It's telling that
CDC/HHS is doing this...they KNOW there is unidentified
COVID-19 out there in the public. People have been
coming in from China for weeks now - before and after the
various quarantines. And these people are spreading
it. And those they infected are spreading it.
Their own CDC experts have told them so.
On another note, it's
interesting that WHO is being pretty secretive about their
Chinese team of experts that are in China now.
Experts from different countries are in this special
team. We do not know who all is on the team or what
their specialties are, where they are going, what they
will be doing. We can speculate that they know more
about this virus than we are being told. "For now we
prefer to keep it as such but we will give you more
information about the experts whenever it's necessary," he

What a mess!
Every day or so there is some new twist to this
coronavirus sage! Remember - forget the models for
'regular' viruses.

"It's possible to get
infected by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) a second
time, according to doctors on the frontline in China's
city of Wuhan, leading to death from heart failure in some
cases. "It's highly possible to get infected a
second time. A few people recovered from the first
time by their own immune system, but the meds they use are
damaging their heart tissue, and when they get it a second
time, the antibody doesn't help but makes it worse, and
they die a sudden death from heart failure."
"The source also said
the virus has 'outsmarted all of us," as it can hide
symptoms for up to 24 days. This assertion has been
made independently elsewhere, with Chinese pulmonologist
Zhong Nanshan saying the average incubation period is
three days, but it can take as little as one day and up to
24 days to develop symptoms. Also, the source said
that false negative tests for the virus are fairly common
(I read 50% false negatives). "It can fool the test
kit - there were cases that they found, the CT scan shows
both lungs are fully infected but the test came back
negative four times. The fifth test came back
positive."
The CDC is also
reporting 'bad' test kits and recalling them. And
the CDC is reporting testing before symptoms appear can
result in false negatives.
Testing that's 100% is
impossible, but one false negative is unacceptable given
the 'nature' of this virus. All it takes is one positive
case! To date, too early testing, bad test kits, the
inability of the test to detect the virus all the time -
'commonly missing positives' - is making this even
more complicated! China is using CT scans of the
lungs now to diagnose patients - looking for white patches
called "ground glass", since they are running low/or are
out of test kits.
It's the perfect
storm. One bit of bad news after the other on this
virus!
