"Warnings On The COVID-19"

Hello John and Doves,

Found an interesting and ominous update/warning on the coronavirus on the TODAY youtube channel, Feb 12, 2020.

"A leading public health expert is sounding a new alarm over the coronavirus, warning that it could affect 60% of the global population if it's not brought under control....The U.S. Postal Service says it's not longer accepting mail to China."  Coronavirus Update: Death Toll In China Tops 1,100 | TODAY - YouTube

We know that this coronavirus is out of control in China - there is no possibility of containing it.  Will other countries share China's fate?  Will cities outside of China become 'Wuhans'?

WHO is now calling the coronavirus disease "COVID-19 - for COronaVIrus Disease 2019.

The first place outside of China to be put in a lockdown (for 20 days) is the commune Son Loi, Vietnam - with 10,600 people and 7 positive cases.  To date there are 17 confirmed cases in Vietnam.

Experts are expecting the number of infected to double every 2.4 days.  And the RO value (represents the number each sick person will infect) is between 4.7 and 6.6 (one infected person will cause 4.7 to 6.6 new infections).  Much higher than initially suspected/reported.

China has reported a sharp rise in coronavirus cases in Hubei provine, where the cases were first reported.

CDC has reported a second confirmed case in San Diego County Hospital.

I wrote in a previous letter to Doves about animal infections and Wuhan city telling people to 'take care of' their pets or THEY would cull them for them.  Received a USAlert with reference to the US military prepping for coronavirus pandemic and noted guidelines about pets/animals.

3.A.1.C.2.F.  Marines may not travel, visit public/crowded areas, or use public transportation and should avoid interaction with pets of other animals, to the greatest extent possible.

3.A.1.C.3.  Until further notice, it is recommended that civilian employees and contractor personnel, and family members returning from China follow existing CDC guidance.  Key aspects include voluntarily:  remaining at home, avoiding congregate settings, limiting close contact with people and pets/other animals to the greatest extent possible, avoiding travel, self-monitoring, and seeking immediate medical care if symptoms develop.

I have not seen anything in the MSM about pets/animals and infected people in the U.S....I think they just aren't telling us anything yet.  I believe that there are two hosts (at least) - human and animal.  China seems to think so.

This information about animals is on the CDC website:

"Should I be concerned about pets or other animals and 2019-nCoV?  While this virus seems to have emerged from an animal source, it is now spreading from person-to-person.  CDC recommends that people traveling to China avoid animals both live and dead, but there is no reason to think that animals or pets in the United States might be a source of infection with this new coronavirus.  (hmmmm)

Should I avoid contact with pets or other animals if I am sick?  Do not handle pets or other animals while sick.  Although there have not been reports of pets or other animals becoming sick with 2019-nCoV, several types of coronaviruses can cause illness in animals and spread between animals and people.  Until we know more, avoid contact with animals and wear a facemask if you must be around animals or care for a pet."https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/faq.html

Time will tell as this disease continues to spread.  The world seems to be where China was in early December.  Heaven help us if in two months we are where China is now.

"Health officials believe there is still opportunity to prevent widespread transmission of the coronavirus in the United States, the director (Robert Redfield) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday, even as he warned that more human-to-human transmission here is likely.....If the United States begins to see instances in several parts of the country in which a single case ignites four "generations" of human-to-human infection, Redfield said - meaning a person who contacted the virus infects a person, who infects another person, who then infects another person - then the CDC is likely to conclude containment of the virus has failed."

The WHO's strategy for the world to halt the spread of this is "containment for elimination" "was successful during the 2002-2003 SARS outbreak - though this outbreak is already nearly six times larger than SARS." https://www.statnews.com/2020/02/12/cdc-director-more-person-to-person-coronavirus-infections-in-u-s-likely-but-containment-still-possible/?utm_content=bufferd3729&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=twitter_organic

Remember, this coronavirus isn't SARS and SARS wasn't weaponized.  We are in new waters with this virus.  Don't expect it to fit any of the previous models or follow the path of any of the previous viral outbreaks.

Our prayers are lifted up for the infected, and those who will be infected.

Pray for the people of China.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!

Maranatha!
