"RE; Gino part 3.....Who is the "he" mentioned in Daniel 9:27......not who you may have thought"

Gino-Doves,

There has been over the years an on going argument / controversy as to who the bible is referring to in Daniel 9:27 which refers to a “he” that confirms a covenant with many for one week.

I have read many posts on 5Doves and other places where many people have weighted in on this seeming conundrum.

Many believe the text there refers to Jesus and many believe that the “he” mentioned there refers to the antichrist.

With all honesty until very recently I believed that that passage was referring to the antichrist.

But now after all that I have recently discerned about the final 7 years and what will transpire with the new protected valley that is created by God the Father...... it has become clear to me that the “he” mentioned there in verse 27 is neither Jesus nor the antichrist but.....God the Father.

How does God the Father confirm the covenant with many for one week.....meaning 7 years?

First of all this covenant being spoken of here is “the new covenant” the one Jesus made with mankind when He died on the cross for our sins. And anyone who believes that happened and that Jesus paid our sin debt in full by the shedding of His blood and Spirit on the ground at Calvary is under a “new covenant relationship” with Jesus and God the Father.

Now.....God the Father will confirm this covenant.

How?..... by sending two end time witnesses / evangelists to attest to that covenant by them preaching that covenant and its relationship for approximately 3.5 years. This 3.5 years fulfills the next sentence of the text........”in the middle of the week (at the 3.5 year point) he will bring an end to sacrifices and offerings”....

That verse ….”he shall bring an end to sacrifices and offerings”....means that at that 3.5 year mark the worldwide preaching of Jesus's gospel (the new covenant format) conveyed by the two witnesses will be over and “the salvation window of time” of this new covenant will have expired......completely......”He (God the Father) brings an end”.......by ending / removing the two witnesses.

As I expressed in my other recent posts.....everyone on earth during those 42 months, 1260 days or 3.5 years of the witnesses' ministry will have had the opportunity to accept of deny the new covenant / salvation message of Jesus.

When this time window closes......”in the middle of the week”..... it's over.....period / amen. There will be no more golden tickets passed out.....so to speak. At this mid 7 year point which I have gone into great detail expressing in my other posts....the Christian Church is taken away by Jesus to a place of safety........ after we meet Him in the clouds above Jerusalem. The age of grace will have formally expired.

And as I also expressed in great detail in my other posts.....the whole original Jewish sacrifice and atonement system will be re-established (at this 3.5 year point) in the new protected valley which will be overseen by the presence of God the Father Himself who will also occupy this valley in the Ark of the Covenant for the last half of the 7 years......... which I believe will conclude the covenant time frame relationship He had with the Jews. This covenant which was never terminated correctly because they, the Jews, rejected Jesus the first time and the Abrahamic covenant was never properly concluded.......will be concluded when Jesus comes back at the end of the 7 years.....second advent as is expressed in Revelation 19.

Hence the remnant Jews who will occupy the protected valley for approximately 3.5 years or the second half of the 7 years will not fall under the blood of Jesus but will have to revert back to blood sacrifices from animals to atone for their sins which will be presented directly to God the Father who will be present in this valley to accept them. (read my other posts this week)

Also I would especially like to acknowledge Greg Wilson 's post from last week and his discernment of Daniel 9. He pointed out that the focus of Daniel in that chapter is on Jehovah (God the Father). With his discernment of that.....I refocused on the wording of verse 27 to see if Jehovah (God the Father) would fit with what I have been proposing in my recent posts and the wording displayed there.....and as you can see from above, it appears to me it fits perfectly.

Blessings Doves and Greg Wilson......John B
