Gino,
In my first post to you this week I gave you an outline as to what I believe scripture has to say concerning the new protected valley that is to be created when God the Father steps on the Mount of Olives. I shared with you that scripture indicated that after God the Father arrives to intervene for Israel after she is attacked......that.... God the Father stays there in this new protected valley for 3.5 years or the second half of the 7 year period until Jesus returns as per Revelation 19.
I also stressed to you that the day to day “religious” life for the remnant Jews who occupy this valley will revert back thousands of years to the time of Moses.
The Jewish temple will be restored, the Ark of the Covenant will be returned to once again house God the Father and all the original sacrifices and offerings for the atonement of sin will be re-established. The priesthood of Aaron etc.
There is another passage of scripture that I wanted to share with you that speaks to / describes this whole God the Father scenario and that is Isaiah 12.....the whole chapter which I will copy below.
1 And in that day you will say: "O Lord, I will praise You; Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; 'For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.' "
3 Therefore with joy you will draw water From the wells of salvation.
4 And in that day you will say: "Praise the Lord, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted.
5 Sing to the Lord, For He has done excellent things; This is known in all the earth.
6 Cry out and shout, O inhabitant of Zion, For great is the Holy One of Israel in your midst!"
This chapter 12 is the Jewish remnant within this new valley giving praise and worship to God the Father who saved them and who now resides with them in this valley...verse 6.
And you see in verse 3 where this remnant are drawing water from the new river which has “living waters” as per Zechariah 14. Here the water is referenced as “wells of salvation”.
I believe this speaks to the “born again” aspect of regeneration after bathing in these waters which will contain the blood and Spirit of Jesus necessary for salvation......hence......”wells of salvation”.
There are other scattered references to God the Father being there in Jerusalem and Mount Zion such as Isaiah 10:12 and Isaiah 10:20-23 and also speaks to the “remnant”.
Not going to make this a long post.....just wanted to re-enforce the scripture I shared with you in the first post with more.
Blessings Gino.......John B
