"Daniel’s Prophecy: An
Overview"

Daniel’s Prophecy: An Overview
Jesus validated Daniel as a prophet.(Matthew 24:15) Daniel's
70th week is in our future. The Fig Tree parable of Matthew
24:32; Luke 21:29 speaks to the events of this 7-year period
which includes 3.5 years of Great Tribulation. The reason that
Daniel's prophecy was divided into 62, 7 and 1 week is because
there were time breaks between these periods of time also known
as "covenant time". The last time break between the 69th and
70th being represented by the "church age" which will end at the
"fullness of the Gentiles" (Romans 11:25), then Daniel's week
will commence subsequent to the resurrection/rapture, probably a
Pentecostal event (two-loaf wave offering typology) on a day and
hour known to God.
The Fig tree came to life on May 14, 1948, budded in 1949 with
the admission to the U.N. (May 11, 1949) and victorious war of
possession of Canaan (July 1949). The Fig tree (nation of
Israel) continues to produce leaves, but no flowers or fruit,
yet. The fruit (recognizing Jesus as Messiah) will come during
Daniel’s 70th week. Seventy years (1949-2019) will have
matured Israel as ripe for Daniel's week. God caused their
return to the land in 1948, "the second time to recover the
remnant of his people" (Isaiah 11:11; Ezekiel 20:34) This second
recovery was from the Diaspora exile. The nation of Israel, the
whole house of Israel (Ezekiel 37:11), has been and is being
gathered out of the nations, albeit in unbelief (of Messiah
Yeshua) and has been and is being recovered "with fury poured
out" (Ezekiel 20:34). The double edged sword of the Lord is
being express on one side for blessing and the other for
judgment. Israel must be strong and rich before judgment.
The 70 years of indignation (1949-2019) will end with the Lord
[by agency] returning to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple
(Zechariah 1:12-16), spoken of by Daniel the prophet (Daniel
9:27) and Jesus (Matthew 24:15). Then, Daniel's 70th week will
proceed and, as Paul tells us, "a remnant of Jacob" shall be
saved. (Romans 9:27, 11:26-27, Isaiah 10:21-22) A remnant will
produce fig flowers (a type of Abraham’s belief) and fruit
(identity recognition of Messiah) because the remnant will find
Yeshua/Jesus. “For they, the Jews, are not all Israel which are
of Israel.” (Romans 9:6) Apostate Israel, those rejecting Christ
Jesus, will die. Remnant Israel, those with Christ’s testimony,
will be delivered and saved. The saved remnant of Jacob will (1)
keep the commandments of God (Matthew 5, 6, 7 expressing the
gospel of the kingdom) and (2) have the faith and testimony of
Jesus. (Revelation 12:17, 14:12, 20:4-5) Then, comes the end (1
Corinthians 15:24).....the Second Advent of the King of Kings
and Lord of Lords. The Aleph Tav, the Living Word, shall rule.
God's 70-year patterns with Jerusalem and his people should
repeat God's patterns of judgment followed by
blessing. The Holocaust judgment followed by the
blessing of the national recovery of Israel in the Promised Land
in 1948-49, then again, national judgment in Daniel’s 70th week,
the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7) followed by
blessing, the deliverance and salvation of God’s inheritance in
Jacob at the Second Advent of Christ [in person].
