"Is it that they believe a lie?"

When Paul lists the works of the flesh:

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Those mentioned in line 19 appear to line up with:

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

It appears that Galatians 5 did not mention the vile, unnatural affection that he mentioned in:

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

So, is it fair to say that those vile affections are therefore not natural to the flesh, but come about as a result of God giving them up to it?
That they are not born that way?
Does it happen by the influence of the enemy? The devil or his under-devils?
Are they deceived by the enemy to believe that they really have these unnatural affections?
Do they end up believing that lie, and then act upon that?
Didn't the devil lie to Eve about being gods and not dying?
Then once she was deceived, and believed his lie, that she acted upon it?
Like when the Lord allowed a lying spirit to deceive king Ahab?

I Kings 22:20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.
22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

Or is it also like what will happen to those who now reject the gospel, after they are left behind, following the blessed hope?

II Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

So, in Romans 1, when God gave them up unto vile affections, was it something similar?
Did the LORD allow the enemy to deceive them into believing that they were that way, and they then acted upon it?
So, would then turning to believe the truth of the scriptures, be away for them to then repent and escape?

II Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

If that is not how that happened, then what does that mean that God gave them up unto vile affections?
