THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN..........
When Jesus spoke these words in His
Olivet Discourse as recorded in Matthew 24:29-30 they
compare with the words recorded in Revelation 6:12-14
describing the SIXTH SEAL events.
In Matthew 24:29-30 Jesus listed these
events in order : sun darkened, moon not give its light,
stars fall from heaven, the heavens shaken, THEN THE
SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN WILL APPEAR IN HEAVEN.
In Revelation 6:12-14 describing the
SIXTH SEAL events Jesus told John to list these events in
order : sun black as sackcloth, moon like blood, stars fell
to earth, as a fig tree shaken, THEN THE SKY RECEDED AS
A SCROLL WHEN IT IS ROLLED UP.
THEREFORE , when we see "the sky
RECEDE AS A SCROLL when it is rolled up " it is "THE
SIGN of the Son of Man" is about to appear to
resurrect and rapture His Church. This is NOT the
description of the Second Coming of the Lord when He returns
to earth accompanied by His previously raptured
Church.
