Remember that wooden cross that washed up on a beach in Fort Lauderdale? It just HAD to mean something so I did some research.
For one - Fort Lauderdale was known as THE destination for spring breakers in the 1980's. It got so bad that new laws had to be written re the drinking age etc. Over 350,000 students used to flock to Fort Lauderdale. It was synonymous with Spring Break. The point I'm making here are the words "spring break". and what Fort Lauderdale was famous for. The spring break period (USA) happens between late February and March. Spring breakers still go to Fort Lauderdale but the numbers are now down to about 250,000.
The beautiful wooden cross washed up on a beach called Ocean Manor Beach Resort. Link provided for your perusal. The Ocean Manor Beach Resort's official website trumpets it's family friendly appeal and claims that this destination "is an ideal venue for your dream wedding and honeymoon - offering the perfect bridal experience". And THIS is where the cross washed up !!
In the first link - a man named Aaron Aaron claimed that he had built the cross and placed it on an island in memory of a friend of his. I clicked on the link provided in the article re Aaron Aaron. Huh. He is a professional fisherman !!
I really don't believe it's a stretch to know that this was a definite sign from Almighty God. A truly beautiful sign. A message of love and encouragement.
