Hello John and Doves,
Yom HaAtzmaut, Israel
Independence Day, begins at sunset, Wednesday, May 8, 2019
and ends at sunset, Thursday, May 9, 2019. .
Israeli's are already
planning their celebrations.
Independence Day is on
the 5th day of Iyar on the Hebrew calendar. The
corresponding Gregorian day is May 14, 1948.
This
coming Yom HaAtzumaut will end the 70th year of Israel's
rebirth. During this 70th year we saw the U.S.
embassy officially moved to the capital of Israel,
Jerusalem, and Israel declared herself a Jewish nation
state (finally) - two major milestones for Israel.
We are awaiting the revealing of the U.S. Peace Plan
'immediately' after the next Israeli elections on April
9. Something could happen before that due to
pressure from the Palestinians, Jordan and Egypt. Or
other 'problems' in the Middle East. We'll see.
Iyar 3/4
will be Day 19 of counting the Omer (days to Pentecost).
This will mark the end of Israel's
70th year and the beginning of her 71st year since
declaring independence in 1948. If something else BIG is
going to happen involving this '70th year', the clock
is ticking. I am hopeful that this 70th year
will not pass without the prophetic clock 'starting to
tick again'...if so, that something BIG will have to
happen before Iyar 5, May 10.
We have several dates before then as High
Watch dates! Purim, first day of the new Hebrew
year on Nissan 1 (Spiritual New Year), Nissan 10 ('Palm
Sunday'), Passover and Passover Week, Feast of
Firstfruits, Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), to
name a few.
Maranatha!
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
