So, it happened this week...... Tuesday, Feb 13, 2 am......at home.......

Pretty nasty pain in my chest, radiating to both elbows and my lower jaw that would NOT go away.  WOW!

Time to go to the hospital.

Long story short.....lol.......  2 stints put in by Hearth Catheterization on Wednesday.

Home today, Friday.  

It could have been SO MUCH WORSE!  Thank you God that it wasn't!!  :)  

Bad news.....I GET TO DO IT AGAIN NEXT FRIDAY......Oh....lucky me!!  (1 more stint in the 3rd bad spot.)

Imagine....done in by 3 arteries no more than 1/8 inch in diameter....GO FIGURE!!  

(Long story short again......)  Gotta go back next Friday as I had an elevated Creatinine level in my kidneys......and they use same nasty blue dye during the Heart Cath that could have pushed the kidneys into distress if the 3rd stint had been done at the same time.    blah blah blah......  lol

The good news is this:   Today: I am at home, feeling great and starting small walks.  Will be out of work next week and the week after.  Had it not been for the 2nd trip next Friday, I think it would have been just 1 week out.  

Anyway...... this was not bad, in the big picture of heart problems!!  Again, thank you God !!!  

Years ago after arthroscopic surgery on my knee, THAT hurt rather badly....compared to this.  


Summary:  I never worried about dying during these 3 days.  For couple reasons:

1) MOST IMPORTANT.....I KNOW WHERE I GET TO GO WHEN I DIE  (Heaven)  and I KNOW WHY I GET TO GO THERE (because of what Jesus did to die in my place for my sins...) And THAT means EVERYTHING TO ME!!!    :)  

2)  I did not think the pain in my chest was "the big one."   I believed it was a problem, and it would be solved.......and it was.......for now....

and

3) HEY!   I'm counting down the weeks and days until the possibility of the Rapture during the Jewish Spring Feasts THIS YEAR.  

From Easter to Pentecost.........and I just HAVE TO BE HERE for the Rapture......!!!!  

Anyway......wanted you to know.

PS.....this whole thing feels surreal to me......like it "couldn't possibly be happening to ME....right?  I am average weight with a decent healthy lifestyle with a semi-decent nutritional eating pattern, right?"

Hmmmmm.....I think it's the inattention to my cholesterol, my HDL and LDL......and (maybe sugars?  my A1c though seems OK at 6.8......????)  ......

that got me this week.  WAH!!!    lol.....  

OK......moving into a NEW nutritional eating pattern immediately...... WAH!!!!  lol......


OH well.....it is what it is....and I can't change what I can't change.....   Live with it Randy !!!   :)
