The...RECIPE ?

  Dear Doves, here's an interesting tidbit of actual American History. This is something
I saw with my own eyes.   I have a friend who was/is a "silver spooner", and he collects
Rare and Early American Books. He lived in Vermont at the time of my visit. He was
showing me his books and I did my best to appear interested.  He sensed my ho hum
and said "here's one that'll get your attention".  He pulled one off the shelf and gave
it to me.  It was a Cook Book from the late 1,600's....early 1,700's ...printed.  It had a
prominent book marker, which I opened to. He pointed to a recipe titled ...BRAISED
PICA-NINNY..... with "bugged" eyes I scanned it, clapped it shut, and handed it back.
He then suggested a drink....I accepted.    YBIC...T H
