The Torah Calendar can be trusted for Julian dates before the Gregorian Calendar began.

I have spent years studying this.
Jesus was born on the Feast of Trumpets in 5 BC. Herod died in 4 BC. His sons started their reigns in 4 BC.

Ron, it was good to hear from you again…..thanks for your email today.
I have been wondering about this for some time.
The question that I have wondered about is this:
WHAT IF the Gregorian calendar was never invented? My hunch is that the pope who ordered it, did it to “honor Christ” in some way to separate history. In a way, it makes sense, but mostly, it makes prophecy MORE difficult. It is well known that in the present calendar, Jesus was born in either 2 BC or 4 BC, (to correct some type of aberration) but in reality, that is impossible. If there was a perfect transition of the calendar, then this year, 2017 AD, could actually be “off” by as much as 4 years.
In the Hebrew calendar, this year is 5777. I think that it is important because 7 is the sign of completeness, and when God repeats something (777 in this case) it has great significance. Also, the days of the month are different, and the whole leap month versus leap year is very different.
What I am asking is, is there a TRUE Gregorian-to-Hebrew date converter available, and can it be used for bible prophecy? I am not smart enough to figure this out, but maybe either of you can, or know someone who can. I am SURE that God is using HIS calendar in prophecy, and NOT man’s (especially a catholic-based one) calendar in the realm of prophecy.
For example, when was Jesus born? It certainly was not December 25, 4BC, or December 25, 2BC, or December 25 (year 0). Most of us know that Jesus was probably born on the Feast of Trumpets, (in the autumn) but WHAT YEAR? 3777 on the Hebrew calendar? (that would coincide with 2000 Gregorian years ago…..so it it probably wrong).
What I am saying is that, are either of you, or do you now anyone who is able to use the Hebrew calendar in a way to more accurately predict prophecy? I hope I explained my question, but if not, let me know, and I will try to clarify.
