    That took a lot of boldness to write what you have.
A friend of mine was asking me if I believed the book.
I said yes, absolutely.
He asked me if I read every jot and tittle.
I said yes.
Then he asked me what the word of God said about the sun.
    My profession is chemical engineer.
Before getting saved, I worked in a laboratory.
Then I got saved in grad school.
Began to work as an engineer, still in the Petroleum / Petrochemical industry.
During the lunch hour, I was able to teach high school science at a Christian school.
One year I would teach physics, and the other year I would teach chemistry.
Then at night, after work, I had the opportunity to teach college.
Teaching a couple different instrumentation courses, with one heavy in the basic sciences.
Also a good amount of refinery experience, at different ones all over the place.
That led to being a Mac developer, developing dynamic process simulators.
    All that being said, when he asked me what the scriptures said about the sun.
Suddenly something powerful happened.
Knowing full well what all my scientific background told me, I instantly answered.
I told him what I had never believed prior to that moment, or even had thought about before.
All the related scriptures raced into my mind.
And I told him that the scriptures says that the sun goes around the earth, so I believe it!
Plenty of people thought that I had gone completely out of my mind.
Odd thing, the Christians were far more offended that I decided to believe the book.
The lost people, that I knew, figured that it was simply part of my faith to believe the Bible no matter what.
    I was greatly encouraged by what you wrote.
