"Strange Sounds Here in Ohio"

Hi John &  Doves!

Wanted to share something to see if anyone has any input, or perhaps had a similar experience.

On Tuesday, February 1st at around 5:45 pm, I heard a series of chimes, followed by an announcement. I live outside the city limits with woods behind us and in front of us. The chimes contained 8 notes - up down, up down, then up down, up down - kind of like a doorbell chime?  Or like the chime they used to use in school before the PA announcements. After the 8 notes, a man's voice said "ATTENTION ALL...." unfortunately, that was all I could make out. The rest of the message wasn't loud enough for me to distinguish the words. Then the whole thing repeated. It was definitely some sort of public service announcement that came from the atmosphere.  I live within a 3-mile radius of the Toledo Express airport and the Ohio Air National Guard base next to the airport. I have lived here most of my adult life and never heard anything like this. My neighbor is a volunteer fireman for our township so I called him, but he didn't know anything about it and didn't hear it. It has really bugged me! (I feel like Richard Dreyfuss in Close Encounters of the Third Kind - LOL!)
I'm thinking it could have been a test of a system they will use to communicate with residents when the power grid goes down. That's the only thing I can think of. My email is liz@liztracy.com if anyone has any input!  Thanks!

Love to my Brothers & Sisters in Christ,
