Today I was pondering over the postings of most of my friends on Face Book. All my friends and family. It came to my mind the words of Jesus in Luke 17:27
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
When I was younger and was raising my family, I was thinking of work, raising the children, and making the dollar. I did not think so much about prophecy and the Lords' return. The issues of the day were first and foremost upon my mind, much like those of my family and friends on Face Book. As I have aged I am looking back on these things and I ask the question: What would have been my demise, should the Lord have returned during those days? My mindset was not so much upon the Lord and his return. I was not watching, nor aware of the things that were going on around the world, nor the things happening within my own country, nor the wickedness of the governing body in Washington. I was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and was born again; I trusted the Lord, and raised my family to love the Lord. But I was not watching!
How hard is it for the young folks to Watch? I would say that it is just as it was for me back in my youth. I will encourage my children to watch, but I perceive that they think I am over reacting, and that my urging is because I am just old and don't have anything else to concern myself with.
We all, I think, can relate to this with our own lives and our family's. But 43 years is a long time, from back then.
I ask myself; Is It Urgent Today anymore than it was to the aged back then?
I must answer Yes; it is more urgent today. Because the clock continues to tick, and the events happening throughout the world are more like it was in the days of Noah than when I was 43 years younger. To the believer; the true church, the curtain is being lifted up more and more, and to the fallen church, the curtain of prophecy is gong down. We see more and more clearly the fulfillment of prophecy coming to pass, and they see less and less.
It has been my belief that the church will be taken out of the way, before the Time of Jacob's Trouble begins. Not [a tribulation period.]
I consider that some here may question this, but we can agree that [Judgment MUST begin at the house of God:] and if it first begin [at] us, what shall the end be [of them] that know not God? 1 Peter4:17
I do my very best to keep myself grounded [in] The Word of God, and not the teachings of men, and video's and famous so called prophets, authors of books, and TV evangelists.
I enjoy reading the letters here in Five Doves. So many thoughts, so many ideas, so many ways of searching out when the rapture might be. Knowledge is good, and can be a blessing for some, and a trouble for others.
Some believe that God has a different salvation plan for Israel, than for the church. That Israel must go back to keeping the feasts and the law for their salvation. Folks; this is a lie, do not believe those who teach these things. Jesus came first for the Jew, then the gentile. Israel will be and is being saved the same way we are saved. "The gospel of Jesus Christ" believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. Acts 16:31.
There is only ONE gospel of salvation. While there are many different gospels being taught by men and women, but these are not the gospel.

When will our Lord return? When the fulness of the gentile be come in.
Romans11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of [this mystery], lest ye should be wise in your conceits; that blindness [in part] is happened to Israel, [until] the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.
Only God knows when that will be. Feasts and Jewish holy days do not apply to the Gentile. The church body is made up of Jew and Gentile today; are they not?
We are all given a measure of knowledge of the word of God when we receive Christ as the Lord and savior of our lives. We can study the word, "The Bible" and use the formula that God gave us to study his word, Line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little, precept upon precept and precept upon precept and still God will not give ONE person all the knowledge written in that book. Man is subject to pride, it is pride that God knows will cause us to fall.
Jesus Christ IS The Word, he alone knows everything written therein that book.
It is man who will continue to try to climb up another way, and it is those that in the end will fall.
What then are we to watch for?
The phrase " When ye shall see" is mentioned (5 times) in the whole of the scripture, and they were spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ in 3 of the 4 gospels.
We know that John is different.
1. Matthew 24:33 KJV  So likewise ye, When ye, (that is you and me) shall SEE "all" these things, KNOW that the end is near, even at the door(s).
2. Mark 13:14 But when ye (that is you and me) shall SEE  the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, STANDING where IT ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) THEN let them that be in Judea flee to the mountain(s):
3. Mark 13:39 KJV So ye (that is you and me) in like manner, when ye shall SEE [these things] Come To Pass, KNOW that [it] is nigh, even at the door(s).
4. Luke 13:28 KJV There SHALL be weeping and gnashing of teeth, WHEN ye (that is you and me) SHALL SEE Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and ALL the prophet(s), [IN] THE KINGDOM OF GOD, and YOU YOURSELVES THRUST OUT.
5. Luke 21:20 And when ye (that is you and me) shall SEE Jerusalem compassed about with armies, THEN KNOW that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Why do I say that we are the YE? Because we are the church, the body of Christ and the Bride, to whom judgment MUST begin with US. God will be separating the wheat from the chaff. Remember.... not all who say Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of God.
The phrase "Lord Lord" is mentioned also (5 times) in the whole of the scriptures.
1. Matthew 7:21 KJV Not every one that sayeth Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven: but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
2. Matthew 7:22 KJV Many will say to me [in that day], Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
3.Matthew 25:11 KJV Afterward came also the other virgin(s), saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
4. Luke 6:46 KJV And why call ye (that is me and you) Lord, Lord and do NOT the things which I say?
5. Luke 13:25 KJV When ONCE the master of the house is risen up, and hath SHUT THE DOOR, and ye (that is me and you) begin to STAND without, and knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I Know You Not Whence You Are.
I never ever want to hear those words form my Lord !!!! I know you also feel the same!!!
How can I NOT be sure of these passages that they speak to us in some places and to Israel in other places.
I tell you my friends in the Lord, that Jesus is speaking to all manner of believers and to the worst of the Jews in these passages.

1. Amos 4:11 KJV  I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,
2. Luke 21:16 KJV And ye( that is me and you) SHALL be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and (some of you shall they cause to be put to death.)
3. John 6:64 KJV  But there are some of you that believe not
4. 1 Corinthians 6:11 KJV  And such were some of you: but ye (that is me and you) are washed, but ye are sanctified,
5. Revelation 2:10 KJV  behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye (that is me and you) that ye may be tried;

Powerful words... yet words that we needs be mindful of, and not believe every doctrine that is pleasant to the eye and ear. We cannot look upon the gospel of Christ as some do as it being like unto a buffet table, where we take of it only that which is to our liking. God has set the table for us to receive ALL that is before us, not only that which tickles our ears.
Lastly we read in  Ephesians 5:6 KJV Let NO man deceive you with vain words: for because of THESE things cometh the wrath of God [upon the children of disobedience.]
2 Thessalonians 2:3 KJV Let NO man deceive you [by any means:] for that day SHALL NOT come , EXCEPT there come [A] FALLING AWAY FIRST, and that Man of Sin BE REVEALED, the son of perdition;

Friends: The Falling Away...IS NOT the rapture. nor can we take liberty in changing the wording, in order that it fit OUR doctrine, no more than can we only take from the table the things we like, and leave or change the rest.
Why? is that so dangerous?
Because there WILL be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
