The Lord guided me to  2 Thessalonians 2 when I read your message.
 Basically we need to be very cautious from these kinds of events advertised in internet about Jesus is coming in this or that month or feast.
I think it is awesome and humble that you recognize this "mistake" and deciding no to lose hope. We learn from our errors and it is great as soon as we repent and stop falling in the same trap.
