Sometimes you just want to walk away from it  (your job)….  I’m sure most every single person reading this likely UNDERSTANDS what I am saying!!

We are blessed in a way that we don’t have to “clock in” at a certain time and clock out at a certain time.  Instead we are contractors, we work only ½ days (either the first 12 hours or the second 12 hours of a day….smile!)    But still you work hard, you hold up to your end of the bargain, you expect to be paid.  Well, “forget it”!!

They have so many rules.  And when you need something done or changed, you repeatedly ask for 6 months for it to get done.  They sit on their hands.  They’d rather talk about football games at the water cooler than to actually push a button on the computer or to do anything to help you in any way whatsoever.

Then when it comes time to pay you, you’re screwed.   They say you didn’t live up to your end of the bargain.  Truth is it was all on their shoulders.

This is a suable offense should we decide we must go that direction.  We have all the documents proving we did everything on our end.  We’d have to find one hungry John Grisham-style lawyer to stand up to the “big dogs” who practically own the world ….  Not ready for that yet.  Maybe never, not sure.

Look, unfortunately I cannot name names here, but I will state that the healthcare system in the US is terribly screwed up right now!!  You just would not believe their jumbled up bookkeeping!!  All I can say is if you ever have a large claim you might want to check it over with a fine tooth comb when the bills come in!!   Jes’ sayin’…… They are in business NOT for your health!!  But to make all their fat cats…. FATTER and richer!!!!  PERIOD; end of story!  Their bottom line!  ALL they care about!  And if they get bigger bonuses by squeezing blood outta’ the lil’ guys, then so be it; they’re fine with that!

We love working, always have.  Just wish that work on this old mudball planet didn’t have to be so aggravating & complicated!!

Can’t wait to work in heaven!  Don’t care if it’s taking care of dogs and cats or shoveling donkey dung  (yes, I truly believe there are animals in heaven!!)   ~~ or ~~ if I’m in “music lessons” for eternity in trying to get on top of the right notes….. ha!!   Whatever it is, I will be most pleased to worship and honor the Lord with my heavenly assignments!  Bonus:  won’t need to bother with nasty filthy unrighteous mammon either!

Truly the scales right now are unbalanced against us.  Should it come to mind and you’d care to, a quick prayer to heaven’s throne for the Lord’s favor over our work/pay issues would be most appreciated!   Thank you.  This is the THIRD year in a row this “big conglomerate” rakes in literally: MILLIONS (thanks to our sales we made “for them”!!)  and yet they

·       Do not pay as promised 

·       Do not pay WHEN promised 

·       Pay only ¼ to 1/3 amount as previously agreed  (that means 75% LESS!!)  

·       Refuse to pay for one territory all together

Somehow it comforts me to know God IS going to settle the score!!  Vengeance belongs to Him.

When we’re under the gun here….. it’s so hard to imagine that life on earth is a mere MOMENT compared to all of eternity!  

Till that time comes, it’s currently like, “Lord? What would You have us do now?”  We’ve had like 59 careers in our lifetimes (slight, though not too slight exaggeration!)  At our late career ages, it does not make us happy campers to know we’ve got to start “all over” YET AGAIN!!  “sigh”!!

Look up!!   Our redemption is SOON!!!  I know I can’t wait, how about you?!!
