D A M A S C U S....Important Sign or T H E  Sign ?

Well the way things are looking for Damascus these days, it doesn't seem it's long
for this World. And it's "ceasing" to be a City is going to be sudden.  Like in ONE
DAY, then POOF! a ruinous heap.  No longer inhabitable for people, but goats and
the like, will do okay there. The Scripture concerning it's destruction, to my under-
standing, isn't clear as to whether it begins the Conflict that results in it's ruin or
it is destroyed at some point During some Greater ( Wider ) War. Also it's not clear
if it Ends the "War" although it will certainly be a "game changer".  And THAT is what I want to kick around a bit. Let me first state what MY OWN thoughts have
always been concerning this event. To me, it is the ONE Prophetic Sign that would
be ABSOLUTE PROOF of the undeniable TRUTH of the PROPHETIC WORD of GOD !  In other words, it would be a MIRACLE !   A Miracle that would no longer
require FAITH to BELIEVE.  We see it come to Pass with our own eyes and in real
time.  To me, it would be like seeing and talking with an Angel of GOD. You wouldn't
have "blind" Faith any more, you would have PROOF !   So doesn't that result in the
loss of the Blessing we receive for " Believing without Seeing" which CHRIST
HIMSELF tells Thomas is in store for those who do indeed BELIEVE without having
to see the holes in HIS hands (wrists) ?  If "my feelings" about this are true, those to
whom JESUS was referring to, when HE spoke to Thomas, would HAVE to be
RAPTURED BEFORE Damascus is destroyed. Just sayin.  I'm sure not all would see
it that way, but that has always been with me since I contemplated what WOULD it
mean to the  Believers who were of that position.  Would we then have PROOF ?
And how is that going to effect our "standing" as far as our FAITH is concerned?
I think it will.  I don't rightly know to what degree. but it WILL change.  What do you
THINK ?  How do YOU think it will change your's ?
