“It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” (Proverbs 25:2)

 

Twenty years ago Mamie Austin was praying for me when the Holy Spirit said, “Choir . . . you’re going to be singing in a choir, Greg!” For twenty years I have wondered what that prophecy meant because I cannot carry a tune in a bucket!

 

Recently, I wrote an article entitled ‘Reading Between The Lines of Prophecy’ for

RAPTURE READY website. In my article I mentioned I live in Orlando. A born-again believer who lives in Apopka read my article and contacted me. Randy West was writing a book about the Rapture and wanted to discuss it with me.

 

One Sunday after church I drove up to his house. He had never read John Hagee’s ‘Four Blood Moons: Something Is About To Change’ but he had met Mark Biltz – the born-again Jewish rabbi who brought the mystery of the blood moons to our attention which John Hagee describes in his book. I left my copy of Hagee’s book with him to read.

 

Two weeks later, I drove back to Randy’s house to receive his manuscript and he returned my book. That night as I lay in bed reading Hagee’s book (for the third time!) I smiled as I saw where Randy had underlined key points in the book and had written notes in the margin of the pages. But it was what he had written on the inside back cover of my book that made me jump out of bed with excitement:

 

“I have been wondering how to speak for God in these Last Days. Up until now, they have all been singing – alone. Perhaps one person could blend their voices together in a CHOIR . . . maybe this book could be that CHOIR.”

 

When I read that, I KNEW what the prophecy meant when Mamie was praying for me twenty years ago! God is doing unusual things in these Last Days – He is revealing secrets He has carefully hidden in the Bible.

 

“Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7)

Jonathan Cahn is another born-again Jewish rabbi who unveiled the mystery of the Shemitah to the Christian world. Just as God created a Sabbath Day – every seven days – He created a Sabbath Year every seven years where He instructed the Children of Israel to forgive and repay debts and let the land rest from cultivation. Obedience of Shemitah brings abundance; neglect of Shemitah brings judgement. The Children of Israel turned their backs on God; they began to worship idols so God punished them with a series of plagues known as the ‘Seven Sets of Seven’.

 

In his best-seller, ‘The Harbinger’ Cohn points out how America is under judgement from God. The Seven Sets of Seven:

 

In September 2001 the seven buildings of the World Trade Center were destroyed in the Islamic terrorist attack; seven years later – in September 2008 – the Dow Jones fell 777 points in one day. Seven years from then brings us to September 2015 – a Shemitah Year in which God allows something to happen to get our attention!

 

Warning comes before judgement!

 

Jesus said, “There will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars . . . when you see all these thngs begin to happen, then lift up your heads for your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:25)

 

The Prophecy of Joel will come to fulfillment this year:

 

“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.” (Joel 2:31)

 

On March 20 there will be a solar eclipse followed by a blood moon on April 4 (Passover). There will be another blood moon on September 28 (Feast of Tabernacles).  After the 28 September blood moon, there will be no more blood moons appearing this century – and you can ask NASA about that!)

 

The ancient Jewish rabbis looked to blood moons as an omen for the Jews and Israel and the solar eclipse was an omen of judgement for the Gentiles – the rest of the world.
