""FOR WHERESOEVER THE CARCASE IS, THERE WILL THE EAGLES BE GATHERED""

"FOR WHERESOEVER THE CARCASE IS, THERE WILL THE EAGLES BE GATHERED"  Matthew 24:28

Jesus placed this PROPHETIC SCRIPTURAL EVENT in His Olivet Discourse exactly where He wanted it to be for THREE specific reasons:

#1  He wanted to reference the coming GREAT PROPHETIC EVENT ,spoken of by the Prophets, in the Old Testament.

#2  He wanted to state that the coming GREAT PROPHETIC EVENT, spoken of by the Prophets, had come to an end.

#3  He wanted to show exactly where the coming GREAT PROPHETIC EVENT, spoken of by the Prophets, occurs in the 'chronological order' of end-time events as He perfectly laid them out in order of occurrence in His Olivet Discourse.

HERE ARE THE 'OLD TESTAMENT' REFERENCES TO THIS SPECIFIC COMING "GREAT PROPHETIC EVENT" :

Isaiah 5:25

"Therefore is THE ANGER OF THE LORD KINDLED AGAINST HIS PEOPLE (Israel) , and He hath stretched forth His hand AGAINST THEM, and hath SMITTEN THEM; and the hills did tremble, and THEIR CASCASSES were torn in the midst of the streets."

Jeremiah 19:7

"I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and i will cause them (Israel) to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives; and THEIR CARCASSES will give to be MEAT FOR THE FOWLS OF HEAVEN ..."

Ezekiel 6:5

"And I will lay the DEAD CARCASSES OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL before their idols..."

God considers the dead body of anyone who dies NOT BELIEVING IN CHRIST as a "carcass".

The GREAT PROPHETIC EVENT spoken of by Jesus in His Olivet Discourse as recorded in Matthew 24:28 is God's "GREAT TRIBULATION" OF ISRAEL which He will shorten and end just BEFORE THE RAPTURE of His Church which makes the following Scripture true:

Matthew 24:29-31

"Immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION OF THOSE DAYS (in Israel)....He will send His angels with the sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together (rapture) His elect from the four winds..."

The 42 month, 1.260 day, period of time BETWEEN the rapture and the Second Coming of the Lord is Satan's "hour of temptation" ( Rev 3:10 ) which Jesus will NOT "lead us into" (Matt 13:6 ) .
