"When did the Ekklesia begin?"

Regarding the Church, and Israel, and when did the Church begin.

And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ."

These words from Matthew 16 are Jesus' own words. " I will build my church" Is a a phrase that is future tense. If the church was already around in the OT, then Jesus would have said "I have built" my church. seeing as the confession made by Peter regarding Jesus being "Christ, the Son of the living God" was not a confession known to the Israelites in the OT therefore the church was a "new thing" created by Jesus.

Therefore the confession of Peter is what the church is built upon. Since this mystery was yet to be revealed, and even was commanded by Jesus not to be revealed until after his death on the cross, How could the church have existed in the OT?

Has the church replaced Israel? I will let the Bible speak here, particularly Paul's words.

11 So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather through their trespass salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous. 12 Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion mean!
13 Now I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry 14 in order somehow to make my fellow Jews jealous, and thus save some of them. 15 For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead? 16 If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches.
17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, 18 do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. 19 Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off. 23 And even they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.

The real problem here, is that the church is not doing a very good Job of Making Israel Jealous. About all she has been able to Bind and loose is the wallets of her deceived members. As Paul warned "Note the kindness and severity of God". We must Continue in his kindness, otherwise, we too will be cut off.

It will only be when Israel confesses that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), the Son of the Living God, that they will be re-grafted into the tree. Is this replacement theology to say this??

The Church, the Woman was born on Pentecost, and Born of the Spirit. She is supposed to give birth, as a sign to Israel to make them jealous....I Ask you all read Micah 5 at the following link:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Micah+5&version=ESV

Notice in particular, the outline in veses 2,3,4 of this passage. Verse 2 is the first advent, verse three describes the church age, and verse four the second coming.

Note especially verse 3. Israel does not give birth here to the church, but rather the church is to give birth, and then the remnant of Israel are to return....Who are we to give birth to???

Who is the "Assyrian" spoken of in verses 5,6? The Antichrist?

If you really want the truth, you need to read Romans 8. Here you will find the Church giving birth to the sons of God, and after this discussion, you will find the redemption of Israel (chapters 9-11).

But unfortunately, the church in this day and age is only giving birth to wind.....
If you do not see this, now is the time to repent, escape from Christendom, and find shelter under His wings.
