"Reply to "Sackcloth sun and blood moon""

Hi Steve,

I did not know that this event was so rare, thanks for pointing that out.  I would like to mention that this sign must happen BEFORE as in Joel 2 it says "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come".  So now we know the rapture will happen after this sign has appeared if we are sure that the "Day of the Lord" is the beginning of the 7 year tribulation period.  The one thing we do not know from this passage is how much time there is between this sign and the "Day of the Lord", days, months or possibly year(s), I hope not that long.  I expect it to happen this year as well.

David,

In Joel 2/Acts 2 the Lord tells us of a specific sign that will precede the Day of the Lord.  That sign is NOT a tetrad of blood moons.  It is, rather, a sun turned to darkness (total solar eclipse) followed by a blood moon (total lunar eclipse).

THAT IS THE SIGN!  And as most of you probably know, there will be a total solar eclipse on March 20th followed by a total lunar eclipse on April 4th.  What you may not know is how rare this is:  according to research done by Renee Moses and Paul Begley, this is the ONLY time this sign occurs in the timeframe they investigated, which was from 1000 BC to 3000 AD.
