"To Gino (and anybody else who has been there, done that)"
Hello Gino,
I think that probably everybody here has made that mistake *at least once* (or a lot of times) in their life.
Just tell the Lord heart-felt that you are sorry if you usurped His
direction. But anyways, sometimes the Lord gives us over to our
desires, and says "okay" because we know that it will be a good learning
experience because our ears seemed to be "deaf."
If you are not accustomed to a lot less cold and less sun in the winter,
this could partially explain the depression (it's call seasonal
affective disorder), as well as the work work work 7 days a week.
For now you have personal experience why the Lord instituted the
Sabbath, your testimony of it is that much stronger.
Be grateful for your blessings that your job assignment is done, and you
can return to your usual worship, and you are still in one piece albeit
a little battered spiritually. Pick up the pieces and with your
renewed sense of the Lord's wisdom, do better. :-)
