Based on observers who have reported in, the new moon was NOT seen in Israel due to clouds.

Unless we get more reports telling us it was or was not sighted, the new moon of the Twelfth Biblical Month will be February 1, 2014 at sunset by default.

The Aviv search will be on the 27th and 28th of February 2014 with a new moon sighting on March 2, 2014. As much as we would all LOVE to go to Israel, we all cannot. You can still take part in this most important event by contributing to help the Aviv search happen!
