God the Father needed a spiritual body through which He could link Himself to man and man could link himself to Him.

 

This is the only way He could transfer life eternal from Himself to us.

 

There's only one problem, this spiritual body can only be acquired by Him first being born and living in a natural body, just like any other man.

 

"There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body...the spiritual is NOT first, but the natural, and AFTERWARD the spiritual." [1 Cor.15:44,46]

 

This was why God sent Himself into the the world as a Divine Seed and clothed Himself in a natural body from the Virgin Mary.

 

God in a natural body is who we call the Son of God.

 

The reason why He's referred to as the ONLY begotten of the Father is because His very Soul IS the Father Himself!

 

He literally was the Everlasting Father in a natural body.

 

That's why when Philip asked:

 

“Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”
"Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? "He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me?
The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority;
but the Father who DWELLS IN ME does the works. Believe Me that I am IN the Father and the Father IN Me..." [John 14:8-11]

 

The Father and the Son are One in the Lord Jesus Christ just like the soul and body are one in man!

 

"For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, MIGHTY GOD,
Everlasting FATHER, Prince of Peace [Isa.9:6]

 

Because He then had a natural body, like any other man, in appearance ONLY, it looked like the Lord and the Father were separate Persons.

 

This is why He addressed God the Father as someone separate to Himself, when in reality it wasn't the case.

 

GOD IS ONE PERSON!

 

Now the Lord could begin the process of changing His natural body into a spiritual one.

How did He go about doing this?

 

A spiritual body can ONLY be acquired by living each day according to the Father's commandments!

 

This is what the Lord did on earth for 33 Years!

 

"...I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love." [John 15:9]

 

The Lord Himself reveals to us what these two commandments are. They're a summary of the ten commandments.

 

"And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” [Mark 12:30,31]

 

After spending 33 Years keeping the Fathers commandments He had acquired the spiritual body He needed to link Himself to Mankind and enable Mankind to link themselves to Him.

 

For every thing He said and did, from the Father dwelling in Him, from conception produced His glorified body, which up until his crucifixion was hidden within His natural body!

 

He was now ready to allow lawless men to destroy His natural body. For by so doing, His glorified body could now be perfected or made solid from the Father dwelling in Him. 

 

Now we can understand, just before He was arrested and crucified, why He prayed:

 

"I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself..." [John 17:4,5]

 

The Lord was crucified on Friday the 3rd of April 33 AD and rose from the dead in a spiritual body before Sunrise on Sunday the 5th of April 33 AD.

 

His new body was a spiritual body, it had flesh and bones, and the Lord could make it solid enough to be touched, and could eat food if He wanted to.

 

"...Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” "When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, “Have you any food here?” So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And He took it and ate in their presence." [Luke 24:36-43]

 

After the Lord's resurrection, in His new spiritual body, he acquired the authority to give His own Spirit [that is, the Holy Spirit] to all those who acknowledge Him and keep His commandments.

 

This is why He told the Disciples:

 

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth" [Matt.28:18]

 

And why He:

 

"...breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit."[John 20:21]

 

The Holy Spirit proceeds or radiates from the very Person of Jesus Christ.

 

He's the one that links us to the Lord and the Lord to us.

 

From Sunday the 5th of April 33 AD, the Disciples received the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

 

The Disciples now had the power to keep the Lord's commandments and acquire a spiritual body the way the Lord did!

 

"If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love." [John 15:10]

 

The Disciples,Paul and all true followers of Christ, down through the Ages are waiting to receive their glorified bodies!

 

This is why Paul wrote:

 

"For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself." [Phil.3:20,21]

 

The Lord clothed Himself in a natural body and conquered sin and death in order to do the same thing, by His Holy Spirit dwelling in the hearts of all those who acknowledge that He is the Everlasting Father in the flesh. In others words that He is the Son of God.

 

It's apparent that billions in the Christian World today do not believe this.

 

They view Jesus Christ as a man like themselves, no different to Buddha or Muhammad. And they regard the Bible as a history book which they can pick and choose what to accept and what to reject.

 

For this reason billions of so called Christians do not acknowledge the Divinity of Christ, therefore they do not have His Holy Spirit dwelling in them.

 

Their day to day lives reflects this.

 

For all though they may call themselves Christians, they exhibit hatred, revenge and cruelty to others. They practise fornication, adultery and homosexuality even though they know these are soul destroying activities. They also lie, steal and covet things that belong to others.

 

This is how far Christianity has fallen in the World today.

When the Lord comes only those who love Him enough to keep His commandments will be taken up into heaven in their glorified bodies.

 

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord." [1Thess.4:16,17]

 

This event will happen!

 

It will be the one event ,in the History of the World that will separate the true Christians from the false ones.

 

One that Day all arguments will cease. God Himself will  choose His own. The rest will be rejected!
