Hi Doves,
This is my comment to a question asked by someone who now claims to now be an ex-Christian.

Since
you've been a Christian, you already know about what happened to Adam
and Eve in the garden of Eden. The Lord new they would disobey a direct
command and He still went ahead and created them anyway. Why? Because of
the bigger picture.
Which is, one day in the
distant future from that time, He Himself would clothe Himself in sinful
human flesh, to do battle with sin, sickness and death, conquer them,
resurrect from the grave in a glorified body, then pour out His Holy
Spirit, from the very same body, into all those who acknowledge Him as
their Lord and God, so that they also can, by His Holy Spirit dwelling
in them, conquer sin,
sickness and death, and then dwell with Him in heaven in glorified
bodies, just like the one He has now in heaven.
"For
our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the
Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that
it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by
which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself." [Phil.3:20,21]
This, in a nutshell, is the plan of redemption!
Does the Lord know all those who will accept it? Yes!
Does the Lord know all those who will reject it? Yes!
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, And all the nations that forget God." [Psalm 9:17]
Does the Lord choose all those who will accept it? No!
We choose to be chosen by using our own free will to love the Lord and the neighbour
as ourselves. For this really is the only requirement for making heaven our eternal home.
Is the Lord unjust for creating man knowing fully well that billions will reject Him? Absolutely not.
Would you say a king is unjust for establishing laws that all the citizens desiring to dwell in his kingdom must obey? No!
If
a person commits a murder in his kingdom the law dictates that the
murderer must be executed. That is the Law of the kingdom. The king is
not being unjust, he is simply preserving and protecting the citizens of
his kingdom.
In the same way, anyone who wants
to make heaven their eternal home, must learn how to love others here
on earth. If a person cannot be bothered to do this, such a person
cannot possibly expect the Lord to allow such a wicked person into His
kingdom! Why should He?
And so hell comes into
existence,
a concentration of wicked rebellious souls who have chosen throughout
the course of their lives to practise wickedness, hatred, revenge,
cruelty, fornication, adultery and homosexuality! You really expect a
holy God to allow such people into His kingdom? It's simply NOT going to
happen!
