"Firstfruits and the Lord's Supper"
Jesus said, "...I am the Resurrection..." (John 11:25)The Word also says,"...Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the First-fruits of those who have fallen asleep." (1Cor.15:20)Doing good from the love of Jesus Christ in us, according to the truths of His Word, is the evidence that we have His firstfruits."Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection..." [5:28,29]It's these firstfruits the Lord is going to "lock on to" on the Day of Firstfruits and resurrect and translate all those who have them.Now consider the following:The Lord said,"Whoever eats My flesh [the bread] and drinks my blood [the wine] has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the Last Day."
