Dan 11:21-24 says, "And in his estate (ken, office) shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. 22 And with THE ARMS OF A FLOOD (i.e., a tsunami) shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant. 23 And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. 24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time."
That says nothing about the "U.S. West Coast."
The only two verses I can find that speak of the United States are 2 Samuel 7:23 and I Chronicles 17:21.
2Sa_7:23, says, "And what one (echad, united) nation (i.e., the United States) in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?"
I Ch 17: 21 says, "And what one (echad, united) nation (i.e., the United States) in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt?"
Where is this tsunami to hit? It sounds to me like the NE Mediterranean Sea. Damascus will cease to be a city, and it is near that area.
Isa_17:1 says, "The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap." Think about Sendai, Japan.
Rev 8:8,9 says, "And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire (i.e., an asteroid) was cast into THE sea (i.e., the Mediterranean Sea): and the third part of the sea became blood; 9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed."
Lately, because of problems in Syria, and maybe because of nearby gas fields, there have been ships from several nations in that area. If an asteroid hits that area, not only will the asteroid explode on impact, but the undersea gas will explode.
Eze 38:18-23 says, "And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that MY FURY SHALL COME UP IN MY FACE. 19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day (i.e., the Day of the Lord, the Day of God's Wrath) there shall be a GREAT SHAKING IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL; 20 So that THE FISHES OF THE SEA (i.e., the sea that is by Israel, the Mediterranean Sea), and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake (i.e., in a worldwide earthquake) at my presence (paniym, face), and THE MOUNTAINS (i.e., asteroids, including Wormwood that will hit Babylon) SHALL BE THROWN DOWN, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground. 21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. 22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, AN OVERFLOWING RAIN (i.e., a tsunami), and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations (i.e., they will see the Sign of the Son of God in the sky), and they shall know that I am the LORD."
1967 (Six-Day War) + one generation 48.33 = 2015.33, or the Feast of Trumpets, Mon. Sept. 14, 2015, probably the Day of God's Wrath. On the Eve of Trumpets, there will be a Solar Eclipse.
Rev 6:12-17 says, "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and THE SUN BECAME BLACK AS SACKCLOTH OF HAIR, AND THE MOON BECAME AS BLOOD; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from THE WRATH OF THE LAMB: 17 FOR THE GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME; and who shall be able to stand?"
Rev 16:1-19 says, "And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a GREAT EARTHQUAKE, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and THE CITIES OF THE NATIONS FELL: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath."
I don't think we will be here that day. There are two Raptures. One will be on that awful day, but there will be one before that. I'm hoping it will be next Ascension Day, Thursday, May 29, 2014. The first Lunar eclipse of the Tetrad will be April 15, 2014, the Feast of Unleavened Bread (called Passover by the Jews). That will be a huge sign watchers won't miss. This is the last such Tetrad for maybe 879 years. That is out of the ballpark. This one is our sign. Instead of a tsunami watch, I am watching for the Rapture.
It seems to me that Jesus acted it out himself. He was resurrected on Sunday, April 9, 30 AD, and ascended 40 days later, on a Thursday. Moses and Elijah appeared that day.
Act 1:9-11 says, "And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
It was played out at the Transfiguration. When Jesus takes us up at the Mid-Trib Rapture, Moses and Elijah will appear on Earth as the two witnesses of Rev. 11.
Mat 17:1-3 says, "And after six days (i.e., 6000 years, end of man's test?) Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and BRINGETH THEM UP INTO AN HIGH MOUNTAIN APART (i.e., probably representing Jesus' throne on Saturn, Eze. 1:1,26-28; II Cor 12:2-4), 2 And was transfigured (metamorphoo, transformed) before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him."
Rev 11:12-17 says, "And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, COME UP HITHER (i.e., at the second Rapture). And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the EARTHQUAKE were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned."
Jesus starts his reign on the great and terrible Day of the Lord, the day of the Last-Trump Rapture (Rev. 6:17; 7:9,14).
It looks like our Rapture, the First-Trump Rapture, will take place when Moses and Elijah arrive. In Rev. 10:11, John was told to "prophesy again". He is to go back to the time of the Mid-Trib Rapture of Rev. 4:1 and give us more information about that time, because that is when Moses and Elijah arrive on Earth.
Rev 11:1 says, "And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, RISE (eqeiro, lift up, take up, i.e., at the First-Trump Rapture), and measure the temple of God (we are the Temple of God), and the altar, and them that worship therein." We will be worshipping Him that day, saying "Thank you! thank you! thank you!". What a glorious day that will be. We will also be reunited with our loved ones. That will make our life complete, the best day ever.
At the Last-Trump Rapture, only the 144,000 Israelites can be measured. A multitude too great to measure will be saved at the last minute on the great and terrible Day of the Lord (Rev. 7:9,14). What makes them believe? I think it is the disappearance of those hated Christians, even those that were in jail. How about you? That should shake up the whole world, even Muslims. They call Jesus a prophet, and lo, he is greater than they thought. He is God. The Christians were right. Pray! and not to an asteroid at Mecca, to God and Jesus Christ. That should be the greatest praying crowd ever. The abandoned cars and the praying in the streets, should stop traffic around the world.
We may have just gotten another sign.
Our southern states seldom get snow. I only saw one real fairyland when I lived in Tennessee. It usually rained instead. Now, lots of southern states got ice first, then 2" of snow, even in Pensacola, FL.
Last night, abandoned vehicles were all over the place. No one without chains is a safe driver in that. I know how it feels, having driven over ice on bridges near Atlanta when we lived at Columbia, S.C. Another time, but not in the south, I had to drive 12 miles on ice. Ed spun out on a curve. I took over and made it because my dad had said to drive with the right wheels off the road. That got me through it. The ground was frozen. You can't do that in the city, where curbs line the streets.
We finally had to put on chains at Albuquerque. We couldn't get up a hill without them. Thank the Lord, we did have chains. Most drivers in the South don't have chains. Most southern cities don't have salt, trucks to spread it on the streets, or snowplows. Lots of cars are stuck, school busses and big 18-wheelers along with everyone else. People were sleeping in the aisles of stores in the last pictures I saw.
