I don't have anything to add because I fully mirror your experience (even to what you note in reading the letters we can explore here at Five Doves).  Think how our fellow believers at the time Paul wrote the letters must have been watching and waiting!  Argh!

Here I think is another puzzle piece of how the great deception could play out.

An uninvited intrusion, focused to be heard by everyone (consciously (and even subconsciously)) without anyone's specific prior consent or approval - an assault against our sensibilities!  All the more reason that we must inculcate His Word in our minds/thoughts so that we are not deceived!  Help us, Saviour!  May His helmet of our hope of salvation protect our thinking and perceptions!
