"Psalm 120: War, Peace, and A Song For Pilgrims Ascending To Jerusalem"

Dear Doves,

   If Psalm 114 is linked to 2014, as the year the hour of trial begins the 7 year shavua of the 70th Week of Daniel, we can look ahead to Psalm 120 and the year 7 concluding in the year 2020. The major themes of Psalm 120 are War, Peace, and a Song for Pilgrims Ascending To Jerusalem.

                  Psalm 120: A Song For Pilgrims Ascending to Jerusalem    New Living Translation

"I took my troubles to the Lord;
I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer.
Rescue me, O Lord, from liars
and from all deceitful people.
O deceptive tongue, what will God do to you?
How will he increase your punishment?
You will be pierced with sharp arrows
and burned with burning coals.
How I suffer in far-off Mesech.
It pains me to live in distant Kedar,
I am tired of living
among people who hate peace.
I search for peace;
but when I speak peace, they want war!

   At The Second Coming of Messiah/Christ, the whole world has turned against Israel to invade and destroy. No peace, no shalom, only war. Armageddon. Psalm 120 is very distinctive. How? It begins 15 psalms in a row, each subtitled " A Song for Pilgrims Ascending To Jerusalem" which is clearly about a time when war is over in Israel, from Psalms 120 through 134. Will these be the first and foundational years of the Millennial Reign of Messiah/Christ from 2020 until 2034? The Scriptural prophecy of pilgrims ascending to Jerusalem during this period is significant. For each year of 1000 years, pilgrims from all over the world will travel to The Covenant Land, to sing as they ascend to Jerusalem for the Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles). Time will tell.

With Love and Shalom,
Jean
