JB (9 Feb 2014)
"nobody likes to have to wait"

but I guess I if I have to, at least it is a quiet waiting.  there is not much that can be said while we wait to see about the blood moons and what will happen with Israel.  sure there is a lot of activity surrounding this time frame as the nations continue to line up to support dividing Israel and partitioning Jerusalem’s temple mount.  ez 38 could still explode on the scene at any time, deterioration of our once great nation, moves toward one world government/currency and apostasy in the church continue to travel the lines of prophetic convergence.

several nice things I have to note the pleasant absence of:

111 or 1111 or whatever...seeing numbers on the clock to confirm the rapture
comet ison, dark star, nibiru et al.
license plate dates
mayan calendar
2012 end of the world
“I am coming soon” meditative journals

and many others.  I listened to all these.  I know many of you did too.  it’s nice, however to get sorted out of those things that apparently had little or no significance to our watching.  it has a cleansing feeling that comes with it.  don’t feel badly if you also got caught up in any of these.  at least you were trying to be watchful. it’s much better to watch than to be asleep.  I for one, have no idea WHEN we leave.  I don’t have any good day counts or theories to put forth so understand I’m not one to make fun of those who do.  I enjoy searching the scriptures to see if the things people say could be true.  I hope you all do too.  I don’t enjoy when all there is to a post is a ‘dream or vision’ with little to no scripture discussion or when folks get harsh with each other, but that hasn’t been too bad lately.  I sure miss the frequency of letters and I miss when things used to be new everyday! Smile something new to investigate or study was addictive. 2-3 times a week is sad, but I think this is due to lack of theories rather than lack of interest and also folks who were ‘so certain’ that they are embarrassed to post now.  they shouldn’t be embarrassed I don’t think, but maybe next time they should also take care how they represent things.  I hope they come back to the discussions someday soon and give new theories.  it’s so good for us to look diligently into these things.  in light of the lack of posts, I will submit some of my thoughts hoping to encourage others to look into His soon coming.

I was taught when I was younger that the rapture of the Church could happen at any time (imminence).  I was also taught that Holy Spirit only worked through the apostles in Bible times.  I don’t believe either of those things now.  I think that God doesn’t do anything except that He tells His prophets first (Amos). I also know God works through us in the exact same ways as He did in Acts.  I used to have a boring sunday pew sitting life thinking that was all there was to life with Christ. Now I know different! Smile

so I guess I believe that God’s feasts tell us what he’s gonna do and the stories of the old testament should show us the types and shadows of what the Lord has planned.

I think Pentecost could be a great time.  always enjoy counting the days on the calendar and remembering that date as the birthdate of two covenants.  always wondered if abraham’s covenant was on same day. (just musing aloud) God seems to emphasize anniversaries in what he does like the 9th of Av anniversaries and the jubilee years et al.

the second time I think would work well with the rapture is feast of trumpets that starts on the day no man knows.

I would be interested in hearing from folks about whether they are imminent people or appointed time people and why.  if appointed times, which do they think scriptures point to? if imminent, why?  I won’t be offended at your thoughts, just curious and looking for things I should look into (like studying to be approved)
