"Possible end of the Tribulation date as September 20, 2017"

Hello John and Doves,

I purchased and started reading Mr. Daniel Matson's book "Israel The Handwriting on the World".

I believe the Great Pyramid of Giza was built by those before the great flood as a type of altar to G-d and a sign to us in the later days...maybe a 'time capsule' for us to decipher now.

Anyway, in Mr. Matson's book he refers to the date September 20, 2017 as being important on G-d's timeline (the return of Christ).

On page 196 he writes "It has been previously thought while first developing this theory in 2006 that the year 2017 possibly ended the seven years of Tribulation, but since it is now 2013, it seems only possible to have 2017 be the beginning."

I would like to say that some Christians believe that the tribulation period is only 1260 days long - as per John in The Revelation.  John repeatedly covers this time period as 42 months or 1260 days or time, times and half a time...so I do not believe he meant 7 years.  I believe that Jesus' ministry was not coincidentally 3.5 years - I believe that this 3.5 years were the first half of the 70th week of Daniel and so there are only 3.5 years left in the 70th week - this last half being the Tribulation.  Just my thoughts on that.

So, September 20, 2017 could indeed still be the end of the Tribulation as Mr. Matson had once thought - if one considers a 42 month Tribulation.  1260 days before this would fall on April 9, 2014.  (I did not consider any leap months/days/etc for this - just used a date calculator.)  April 9, 2014 is Palm Sunday.

I remember Pastor Riley (he's posted on 5 Doves many times) writing a most interesting study on Palm Sunday being the day that the prophetic clock stopped.  I was much impressed by his study.

Just thought I'd send a letter to John and the Doves with my thoughts on this and Mr. Matson's latest book on Eschatology.

We'll keep looking for His return...no matter what.  We will remember and watch for Him.

Blessings,
Chance

PS  I am enjoying reading Mr. Matson's book.
