"Warning of a possible catastrophe coming to America on 2-21-2013"

Dear brother Tng,

This is the first time I have submitted an article, although I have been a reader for quite some time. I think you will find the attached article intriguing.

I hope you will post this; it may be very important.

Love from your brother in Christ,

A WARNING OF A POSSIBLE CATASTROPHE COMING TO AMERICA

February 5, 2013

Dear Christian brothers and sisters,

I feel quite strongly about the possibility of a catastrophe coming to America that may be hidden in Scripture specifically concerning our great nation. Proverbs tells us that:

Proverbs 25:2

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

KJV

And also that:

Amos 3:7

7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

KJV

I am indebted to Nathan Leal of The Watchman's Cry website for bringing something to my attention that I feel is worthy of your consideration and prayer.

However, I noticed something in addition to his writings that Nathan admitted to me he had not considered. Please be patient, as I need to lay the groundwork.

Consider these verses:

Jeremiah 39:1-2

In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, came Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his army against Jerusalem, and they besieged it. 2 And in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the city was broken up.

Please allow me to refresh your memory with a brief history of the events leading up to this passage. In the context of this and prior passages in Jeremiah, this is the 3rd and final siege against Jerusalem. The Northern Kingdom (Ephraim) had been attacked by the Assyrians and carried away into captivity over 100 years earlier.

The Southern Kingdom (Judah) under King Jehoiakim  had been attacked by Nebuchadnezzar, the Babylonian king, 19 years earlier; and in this first attack the Israelites were defeated and a portion (3,023 souls – Jeremiah 52:28) were held hostage to ensure their fealty and carried away in captivity to Babylon. Among these hostages were the teenager Daniel and 3 others of the royal house (Daniel 1:6). Thus began Israel's 70 years of captivity (the exile) - a result of the prophesied judgment of God upon the Southern Kingdom. Nebuchadnezzar replaced Jehoiakim with his appointed vassal, King Jehoiachin, who a few years later also rebelled.

In response to this rebellion, Nebuchadnezzar then successfully laid siege to Jerusalem a 2nd time, and he then  replaced Jehoiachin with his vassal, King Zedekiah, and also took captives (832 according to Jeremiah 52:29), among whom was the prophet Ezekiel. King Zedekiah - despite prophesies from Jeremiah in Jerusalem and from Ezekiel in Babylon that Jerusalem would be totally destroyed if they didn't submit to God's judgment – rebelled anyway; and Nebuchadnezzar laid siege the 3rd and final time (this time carrying away 745 captives – Jeremiah 52:30), such siege being the subject of our passage quoted above.

Nebuchadnezzar was successful in his 3rd and final siege, and according to the above verse Jerusalem was "broken up" (penetrated). This happened, according to Jeremiah. 39:2 in "the eleventh year, and the fourth month, and the ninth day" of Zedekiah's reign.

One month and one day later, he set fire to the King's house, and all the people's houses in Jerusalem, and the Temple was totally destroyed (Jeremiah 52:12-13).

So how does all this have a potential application to us today?

A good question; now you may recall how Paul said:

1 Corinthians 10:11

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

There are numerous examples of God's judgment on various nations in Scripture. It is a fact that God continues to judge nations as He did in Old Testament times. God says of Himself that He does not change (Mal. 3:6), nor is He is a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34).

God brought about the destruction of Jerusalem because, among other things, they had left off following Him, and blood was on their hands because of the sacrifice of their children to false idols.

Ezekiel 23:37

37 That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.

America is in the same position today. There is no doubt that we, as a nation, have left off following Him, and the blood of at least 53,000,000 aborted babies cries out to Him from the ground, to say nothing of a multitude of other sins as a nation. There is no doubt among knowledgeable Christians that judgment on America is coming soon.

Some of you may object on the grounds that America harbors so many Christians, and, moreover, that America has been a blessing to Israel. But I would point out to you that there is a point of rebellion beyond which there is no remedy; God simply will not hear their prayers. (Hosea 4:17, Genesis 6:3, Isaiah 1:15).

Isaiah 1:15

15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

KJV

Many of you are familiar with the 9 harbingers of impending judgment that have been trumpeted throughout America over the last few years by Jonathan Cahn through his lectures, videos, and his book, "The Harbinger". If not, I urge you to check this out.

The first of these harbingers occurred on the infamous day of September 11, 2001 with the destruction of the twin towers in New York City.

Now consider this in the light of Jeremiah 39:1-2 quoted earlier:

Begin with                     September 11, 2001

Add eleven years           September 11, 2012

Add 4 months                January 11, 2013

Add 9 days                    January 20, 2013

What is auspicious about 1-20-2013? This is the date of the private inauguration of President Obama on that Sunday. The Constitution requires this oath be taken on the 20th of January, which happened to be a Sunday. This was done in a private ceremony. The public inauguration took place at noon on the next day, 1-21-13. http://thegrio.com/2013/01/04/obama-to-hold-two-swearing-in-ceremonies/

Jerusalem was the capitol of Israel (Judah).

Washington, D.C. is the capitol of the United States.

New York City was the capitol when Washington was inaugurated as our first President.

I present the following conjecture from all this: something significant happened on 1-20-13 – perhaps a secret infiltration ("penetration"). It was not visible to the general public, because it took place in the spiritual realm.

But it is highly possible that in accordance with Jeremiah 52:12-13, that one month and one day from 1-20-13 - on 2-21-13 - God may bring judgment on Washington, D.C. and destroy it by fire.

As I outlined earlier, the spiritual invasion took place on 1-20-13 when "the city was broken up" (penetrated).

Jeremiah 39:1-2

39 In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, came Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his army against Jerusalem, and they besieged it.

2 And in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the city was broken up.

KJV

The actual destruction of the city of Jerusalem took place one month and one day later as told in the following passage:

Jeremiah 52:12-13

12 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzar-adan, captain of the guard, which served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem,

13 And burned the house of the Lord, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great men, burned he with fire:

KJV

(Note: the 19th year of Nebuchadnezzar is the same as the 11th year of Zedekiah as follows:

Jeremiah 32:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.

Therefore, simple math tells us that the 11th year of Zedekiah's reign = the 19th year of Nebuchadrezzar.)

It is also possible, that in lieu of Washington, D.C., the target of destruction may be Ground Zero, where the very first inauguration of our first President, George Washington, took place, and where he later dedicated this nation to God in prayer as a matter of written historical documents. New York City was then (1789) the capitol of America; said capitol later was moved to Washington, D.C. This is in deference to the very valid conclusions of Jonathan Cahn.

This is purely conjecture based on the example of Israel in God's Word; this is not a "sure word of prophecy". I do not present my case as a "thus saith the Lord"; not by any stretch. God has not personally spoken this to me – rather, I believe He has only revealed this in my spirit. This is Scriptural and in accordance with Jeremiah 33:3 and John 16:13:

John 16:13

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

KJV

But the odds against this being a coincidence are, to put it mildly, rather staggering. And we who seriously study the Bible know our God is absolutely precise in His warnings.

There is the possibility that something very significant will happen to America on February 21, 2013. You can explore some of this yourself at these websites of Nathan Leal. I know nothing about this teacher, except that I was directed to his website by a dear brother. I did explain my conclusions to him by email, and he replied that he agreed with me.

I realize that I am putting myself in the position of being labeled "Chicken Little". ("The sky is falling; the sky is falling"). But I see a distinct possibility in Scripture of impending judgment, and blood would be on my hands if I did not warn you (Ezekiel 3:18-19).

Something to pray about.

Love,
