What many Christian's like Joel Osteen fail to understand is that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh.

 

So when Christians are taught to have an idea of God separate from Jesus Christ, they are actually believing that Jesus is an ordinary man like themselves! You'll be surprise just how many Christians believe this!

 

This is why millions of Christians who say "they believe in God" are NOT Christians in the strictest sense of the word.

 

A true Christian believes that Jesus Christ IS God.

 

Calling Jesus "the Son of God" literally means He is God the Father in the flesh.

 

In the Word, a leper was able to grasp this fundamental Truth that millions of Christians today have failed to.

 

"...there met Him ten men who where lepers...And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"

 

"So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priest." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed."

 

"And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, RETURNED, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His [that is, at God's] feet, giving Him thanks...So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?"

 

"Were there not any found who RETURNED to give glory to God [Jesus Christ] except this foreigner?" [Luke 17:12-18]

 

We can be sure those nine healed lepers would have given thanks to God, as they travelled to their

respective homes!

 

Unfortunately God didn't receive those offerings of thanksgiving because they failed to RETURN to the village in Galilee were they left Him!

 

"No one comes to the Father except through Me." [John 14:6]

 

"Unto us a Son is given...And His name will be called...Mighty God, Everlasting Father..." [Isaiah 9:6]

 

Jesus Christ IS the Everlasting Father in the flesh.

 

Jesus Christ IS God in the flesh.

 

This is why we must approach the Lord directly as God if He is to receive our praises and thank-givings.
