I wrote about what I thought was an interesting concept by which many different timelines could be reconciled - a 7 year tribulation AND a 7 year peace covenant- just not running on the same timeframe........................... Basically the 7 year Trib is God's timeframe and the 7 year peace deal is on the devil's timeframe and begins around the MIDDLE of God's timeframe and is CUT short 1/2 way through at the END of God's 7 yr Tribulation timeline (after all doesn't the Word say that God will ANNUL Israel's COVENANT with death?)...........................
Anyway I thought it was thought provoking and worthy of discussion and invited all to respond and discuss - but not one bothered to comment or take note - so I guess either it was a boring concept or I must have cooties, please let me know so I should know if I should ever bother writing in again - I certainly don't want to be a bore!

To All mentioned above- I chose to write because you all have interesting ideas involving timelines and I had one other I wanted to add into the mix.

I hope this formats OK since I have to write from my mobile phone and it may make it hard to read on the internet - I also want to thank John Tng yet again for this site, since while I frequent another site- RITAN, sometimes ideas like I am about to post would not find thier way on a site like RITAN and while I understand their adherance to certain established doctrines, it is nice to have a forum like this open to all ideas so we can think outside of the box a little bit.

As I see it there are a couple possibilities within the timelines posed by the individuals mentioned above- according to some, Ron Reese, Gerry Almond, Gail, perhaps Mathman - we entered into the tribulation period sometime in 2008 or 2009 depending on the timeline overlay, and may be rapidly approaching Midpoint.

Accorind to others we have not yet entered the final 7 years and we may be approaching the sudden destruction/rapture event that will initiate those final 7 years.

According to still others, Yeshua/Jesus put an end to sacrifice after His 3 1/2 year earthly ministry and some say there are only 3 1/2 prophetic years of Daniel's final 7 remaining.

I must say I subscribe to none of these and I subscribe to all of these - I am willing to entertain the notion that God will fulfill prophecy as He pleases, not just as I in my finite mind can understand it.

So lets make a long story as short as possible, lets look at some established prophecy interpretation that may or may mot be correct.

I believe firmly that we will be raptured befor the great tribulation, but where in the Bible does it say it MUST be 7 years long?  We have our day counts from Daniel and overlay with our human intellegence and think that we have it all sorted out- maybe so, maybe not- lets start there.

Where in the Bible does it say that the Abomination of Desolation and the causing of the daily sacrifice ceasing are the same thing on the same day or could be different events on different days?  We often have a lot of pre-conceived notions that may or may not be true.

Let me sum it all up as best as I can and then I  eagerly await all of your feedback.
OPTION 1. could be this- the traditional 7 year tribulation period with a rapture preceding it holds true, in which case, Ron Reese's, Gerry Almond's and many others overlays given have been given as super signs and markers of the actual fulfillments yet to come, in which case we should expect the 1260, 1290, 1335 day counts all to repeat themselves in the upcoming years.

or OPTION 2. perhaps all of the abovementioned day counts, timelines, and overlays were all pointing to the rapture and the beginning of the    Great Tribulation period, God's Wrath (not the birth pangs we have been living through these past few years) Perhaps the seals are about to be opened in the next few weeks however perhaps it will all conclude in 3 1/2 years.

I feel like I have not explained my theory so let me offer an example - suppose O does confirm a covenant for 7 years next month. Also suppose this fulfils the Abomination which causes Desolation - IF- he is the AC in the holy land (I confess I do not know, but am willing to admit that all of the circumstances surrounding this must be more than coincidental!)

Well, the critics will say, there is no Temple! If next month's event proves itself to be the Abomination, how will sacrifice cease?  Again I point you back to my question, who says it will be the same event?

So just for arguement sake, lets say next month a covenant is confirmed for 7 years, and lets say within this covenant there is a provision to rebulid a temple, or at least restart animal sacrifice- now ask yourself the question, is this 7 year covenant in God years or man years? was it established by God or by man?

By God? Not so fast- I know I keep saying I will make a long story short, but if you have stuck with me this long, now you might finally see where I am going with all this.  I think it is possible if next month's event proves to be the Abomination, that God's 7 year clock may have started in 2008 or 2009 - yet the confirming of the covenant will begin a count of 7 years established by MAN not GOD.

So then if this is true, what can we expect to see in the next 3 1/2 years? We should expect to see ALL of the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgements come to pass as God's undiluted wrath is poured out- we should ALSO however expect to see a sacrificial system re-established by Judaism within Israel.  We should ALSO expect to see the TWO WITNESSES preaching against the Antichrist and False Prophet, and they might also preach against the newly established sacrificial system as Yeshua was and is the only suitable sacrifice.

FINALLY 3 1/2 years into MAN'S 7 year covenant we should see a repeat of the Abomination, only this will be the FINAL slap in the face to God when the Antichrist puts an end to animal sacrifice and declares himself to be god.

While this is only 1/2 way through MAN's 7 year peace deal, here is where I think we get it wrong, I think this MAY be the FINAL event ENDING the tribulation - perhaps after this ultimate blasphemy is the physical return of Messiah to earth to slay the wicked one.

This is NOT "thus sayeth the Lord" it is just a sincere watcher trying to think outside of the box and gain understanding and wisdom - I feel as if I still havn't probably adequately explained myself, but I am sure if God wants anyone to understand this He will give you ears to hear.

If I am in error in any of this, I expect to be corrected with sound scripture references, not just an interpretation of scripture, and again I eagerly look foward to some of your responses.
