"Gary C and Ed C"

I read the post back and forth. I think that Ed made it clear and simple. Honestly I read the post by Gary and left not having a clue what he was talking about. But when I read what he said about Ed's rebuttal I was shocked. The comment "please do not help Satan deceive your web site readers" is uncalled for. We all have differences and I am a believer that all letters should be posted as long as they pertain to Bible subjects. That is how we all learn.
Now after reading what was written I only want to quote from 1 Corinthians
1 Corinthians 1:17,19,20,22,29
17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

The comment Gary makes "Please make a committment to Jesus Christ (if you are a Christian) to only post articles or letters from those who have studied the subject they are writing about and are providing Bible based reasons why they are writing." makes him sound like he is the only one who ever studies the Bible. Sounds like he is glorying in his flesh. Ed used mainly Bible verses and made it clear and simple.

It reminds me of a poster I had in college(i used it as a joke) but it read the following
"THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK YOU KNOW EVERTHING ANNOY US WHO DO".

Kind of sound familiar.

Anyway, It is great that people study and we all should. But just because one person can write a lenghty article does not mean he is more qualifed in the Body of Christ than someone else who keeps it plain and simple. I prefer the plain and simple.

thanks
