I am certain we can expect another mass ritual to occur this Sunday, February 10th, when the Grammy Awards will be broadcast.  Just a couple of interesting details about the Superbowl ritual:  February 3rd is the 33rd day of the year, it is 51 days (5+1=6) since the Sandy Hook shootings, and 44 days since the Mayan calendar/winter solstice marker of December 21st.
