Then who do you think the man sitting on a white horse is?
Rev 6:1,2 says, "And I saw when the Lamb (i.e., Christ) opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow (toxon); and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer."
I accept what Strong's Concordance says.
Strong's says G5115 toxon is from the base of G5088 (tikto); a bow (apparently as the simplest fabric): - bow.
I take that to mean that this man is a man of the cloth, a religious leader, a member of the clergy.
Mat_7:15 says, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
As a badge of his office, the Pope wears a pallium made out of wool from two specially raised sheep.
I can't get rainbow out of any of that.
Gen 9:13 says, "I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth."
There is a rainbow around the throne of Jesus on Saturn.
Eze 1:1 says, "I saw visions of God."
Eze 1:26-28 says, "And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a THRONE, as the appearance of a sapphire stone (meaning dear to the planet Saturn, from the Sanskrit Sani, Saturn, and priya, dear): and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man (Jesus, the only God/man) above upon it. 27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins (i.e., from the equator) even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness (i.e., Saturn's rings) round about. 28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD." Heaven has a halo.
Rev_4:3 says, "And he (i.e., Jesus) that sat was to look upon like a jasper (first stone in the breastplate) and a sardine stone (last stone in the breastplate, i.e., Jesus is the FIRST and the LAST): and there was a RAINBOW round about the throne (i.e., there are rings around Saturn), in sight like unto an emerald (Judah's stone in the breastplate, i.e., Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah)."
In Rev_22:13, Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last."
Rev_5:5 says, "And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda (Jesus), the Root of David (i.e., he is both YHWH and Jesus), hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof."
Jesus is also the lamb of God. Joh_1:36 says, "And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!"
Who do you think the beast and false prophet are?

No one makes war with the Pope.
Rev_13:11,12 says, "And I beheld ANOTHER BEAST coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb (i.e., two comings to power like Christ, one in Judas Iscariot, the 1st son of perdition, the other in the False Prophet, the last son of perdition), and he spake as a dragon (Satan). 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him (i.e., then he may also be a Pope), and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed."
At the time of the First-Trump Rapture, Rev 17:14 says, "he (i.e., Christ) is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that ARE WITH HIM are called, and chosen, and faithful."
At the time of the First-Trump Rapture, Rev 17:10 says, "And there are seven kings: five are fallen (leaders of Babel, Babylon II, Media-Persia, Greece and the Holy Roman Empire), and one is (the Pope, leader of the Ecclesiastical Holy Roman Empire), and the other (False Prophet, leader of Babylon III) is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space" (i.e., the shortened Great Tribulation).
Pro_10:27 says, "The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened. "
Mat_24:22 says, "And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened".
Mar_13:20 says, "And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days."

Since you asked:
The word "bow" as used in Revelation 6:2, translated from the Greek means fabric, a bow of fabric, nothing more, nothing less. This particular Greek word occurs only once in one verse in the Bible, namely Revelation 6:2.
