There are several things the Scriptures tell us about why it is impossible for the USA to be the center of the power of "the Beast".  One is this verse....

"I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns....I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast she rides, which has the seven heads and ten horns. The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come " (Rev 17:3...7-8)

Note how this "Beast" cannot possible be the USA for several reasons;

• When the Book of Revelation was written, the USA had never been, so it does not fit the description of "once was".
• The USA has 50 equal "horns", not 10. 
• Rev 17 is referencing back to Daniel's prophecy of a beast in Daniel 7, which unquestionable did not refer to the USA.

The capital city of the USA does NOT sit on 7 hills, as does the one mentioned in Revelation 17.
