When reading about things in the news, I we could classify news items in several categories:

• Watch Items - something that fits a prophetic description well enough it COULD be a fulfillment of that event.
• Warning Items - something that fits a prophetic description with at least 2 or more properties and has no charateristics to disqualify it.
• Alert Items - Something that is PROBABLY (more than half likely) to be a fullfillment.

I could go on to "High Alert", etc., but you get the picture.  I would say that Mar 22 is at least a WATCH item.  Israel has signed numerous treaties before, and each one should be watched for at least some purpose, particularly if more than one other nation is involved.  But the fact that Israel is calling this a "ברית עמים" (Covenant of the Peoples) is significant.  While that may not EXACTLY the same wording as Dan 9:27 uses ("ברית לרבים" Covenant for Many), there's enough synonymity here that the exact choice of words does not change the overall nature of it and the language used for Mar 22 is actually stronger, since any covenant involving Israel can be considered a covenant for many since there are many people that live in Israel.  But if many nations are involved, it multiples that level even more so.

Does anyone have any details on this treaty?  Is it a confirming of things already agreed to?  Or something with a whole new foundation?  Has the text been published or are they still working it out?

Passover is Monday, March 25th.  March 22nd is only 3 days prior.
