Rev. 1:7 “Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindred of the earth shall wail because of him.”
1 Cor. 15:52 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
Daniel 12:2 “Many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”
Rev. 20:12 “I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”
Luke 11:9-10 “I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.”
When Jesus comes the second time everyone [good and bad] will be changed and able to see into God’s spiritual kingdom: some to go up with Him and the others to go down.
There are two kingdoms: God’s kingdom and Satan’s kingdom. We must choose before we are changed because salvation comes by faith in Jesus as Lord.
The date of the first coming of Jesus was a mystery as well as the date of the second coming of Jesus. If they had known, they would not have crucified Him. So, as Jesus said, “no one will know the day or the hour”. We can only “guestimate”.
No amount of theological knowledge is going to help. The ancient Rabbis didn’t know and made a terrible mistake by rejecting Him. Jesus thus chose and formed another nation for himself. He adopted many children to fill up His many mansions.I hope this either terrifies you into action or blesses every one of your bones. I would be remiss if I did not pass this on to you. I love you in the Lord. jfh
