Yes, God is most definitely in control, however there are instances all throughout the millennia, recorded in Scripture, where He has allowed...... "give power" to the enemies of His own......disobedience, at some point in time, brings His chastening, and as John records in the last book of Scripture, ultimately, there is even coming a time when God will give the enemy of humankind power, even power unto death.
